I've always been a fan of banning the burqa in public areas. But having read your descriptions above, I am persuaded there is a case for certain women to be forced to wear the Burqa in public places.

If there isn't there should be! Double sentence for women potentially releasing birth control hormones into the water supply. It's proven to turn us all gay. Well one of Scotty's TikTok video says that. It definitely causes transgender fish.

Police are sometimes 'over zealous' let's say in putting ' evidence' before courts. All organisations have corrupt employees. Jurors can be totally stupid f**k wits. Or they can have an opinion swayed in one direction by a highly competent barrister , or in another way by an incompetent or disinterested barrister. Jurors could enter court determined to find somebody guilty because of existing prejudices or slanted media coverage of the case. Judges can be biassed, or have fallen asleep whilst witnesses are testifying. Some may want to make a name for themselves as 'tough guy' judges

Somebody should tell Starmer that illegal workers get paid in cash. No paperwork. So ID cards will have no effect on the black economy. What it will do, and the real reason it's being introduced, is to increase state surveillance on us.

It's a no from me. Me and my Mrs were on a train Italy. I knew we were supposed to carry our passports but, for security's sake I left them in our hotel room safe. I would love that to happen. Members of Joe Public who are known to be fair, decent people should be 'conscripted ' as MPs for 5 years. They do exist. They would make a lot better job of it. There would be a reasonable salary, reasonable expenses, but no kickbacks either during or after their stint in parliament. As others have said, its a fundamentally flawed where somebody puts themselves forward for power. It attracts the wrong type.

I greatly respected a foreman I had once. He had developed an excellent way of managing men. Whenever there was a horrible job to be done. He would say " come on lads. I never ask you to do something I wouldn't do myself". And he was as good as his word. He would do the horrible jobs just to set an example. Poloticians don't do that.

I get it. But I guess the idea of sending Skinner to uni was so that that he could better represent them in Parliament. If you leave school at 14 ( I know we left at 13 due to circumstances beyond our control lol) then standing up in parliament with a working class accent and a rudimentary education would be very intimidating. So the education was paid for so he could compete on an equal basis. Skinner became a bit of a pantomime turn. I didn't really rate him. Eventually neither did his constituents and he failed to be elected last time round.

I think autism is just noticed more. There's an industry of professionals who put labels on people. I've worked with many men who in hindsight were autistic. Generally they were damn good workers too. But they often need protection from f**k wits who would bully them if allowed. Many famous men throughout history would today be labelled autistic. One of my geekier habits is identifying and counting road kill. Drives my Mrs mad when I stop and reverse to eyeball a particularly interesting road kill. I used to regularly travel to Aberdeen to see my grandkids. I once counted over 70 pheasant kills on a particular stretch of the motorway and over 20 mountain hares on a few mile stretch of road passing through Glenshee. I used to let my whippets course them when it was quiet. You can always claim they were pets and had never done that before. The hares are stupid . Even Mc'hulls desert dogs might stand a chance.
