    Thanks mate, nice one she sounds like she will be in good hands, its just i would hate to see her kept in an aviary doing nothing when shes survived perfectly fine without any help I'd rather see an owl sat in an aviary doing nothing than a young lad with his face ripped off or an old pensioner lose there pet lap dog. Best of luck in catching it mate deadly feet on them. Atb. Im not saying that mate, im on about the post where he says he would relocate it somewhere more suitable, it would just be plain thick and irresponsible to release it back from where he caught it

    Cant see anyone claiming it and im sure i read somewhere that unless owls are trained from a young age to fly then they cant be trained? I think most people just end up keeping them in a big aviary looking pretty.

    Makes me cringe seeing that, if my bird was to catch one and i let him feed up and he found the pellet he would be as good as gone, should check more often, especially with the nobheads round here

    I probably wouldnt mind when in transport or the odd squark when i walk past but not all the time or out in the field, would drive me up the wall. No matter how good it is, its not fair on the nighbours either

    Wasnt aimed at you mate, ive always said it should be like it is in america over here. Problem is many beginners get put off when they join forums like the iff and see all the unwelcoming comments made by those who forgot they were ever a begginer themselves, you should be brutaly honest with them, but some people take it too far

    I thought the same, its not that hard to get into because theres so many in the sport, maybe for those that think everbody else does it wrong and only them should be allowed to fly birds, but thats only because no f****r else wants to hang around with a smart arse lol

    Hope there not at me and what ive saids been taken out of context, im interested actually, wondering were hunting with catapults and dogs fit into islam, i did RE at school and know that animals must be slaughtered in a certain way, i think dogs must kill the animals themselves to make them halal and didnt think hunting with a catapult would fit into the right way to kill and animals, please dont take what ive said as a bad thing ha

    Wouldnt bother mate, ive got one and to be honest its shite, stick to a normal sized one, although those dankung luck rings look alright with some looped tubes should do nicely with 12mm lead

    Pheasants probably not unless a headshot, same with pigeons, just use heavier ball bearings to be on the safe side

    No worries bud, with 9mm steel any less than a perfect shot wont kill it, i use 12mm lead so if i was to use steel it would be 14mm but thats my choice, i know kranky uses his monster lead conical bullets and they do some proper damage on a rabbit
