These speeds though are when the shooters only feet away from the chrony, obviously in a hunting situation game will be further away and so the 8mm steel wont retain energy better than the heavier ammo, might try 10mm lead myself

I asked on the slinghsot forum and didnt get a proper supply, only place ive found is on ebay from the ebay seller red kite. Sounds ok Once again I have tried this I have some left too. Its too thin needs to be 3ply and just don't last ... I bet it would plait 9mm tubings thin to you? medi tubes ...Its very thin latex it would be great if it was 9mm thick... Look at my avi thats medi tubes ... Oh the wall thickness not the full tube, im with you now

9.5 with surgical tubing wont get the best out of it, i use 18mm. Double dankung 1745 and 2040 is supposed to be the best tubing for them

Are you saying call them to the fist for part of a chick and then take it off them?. Perhaps i have taken it out of context ... Not the full offering so as soon as they land on the glove take it off them so they have jumped for nothing, let them break into the chick have a little meat then remove the rest and call back straight away, ive found it helps alot

Thanks mate, its funny he has never showed any interest in magpies whatsoever, if he had my tally would be well over 50 by now lol, it was certainly a suprise when i saw him flying up its arse, hopefully he will keep it up

Was supposed to be lamp training the bird tonight but glad i didnt as it is pissing it down lol, Set of this morning just to see what was about, the bird bound to a magpie on top of a hedge that runs along a river, then managed to let go of it, the bird got back up and tail chased it almost vertical, was like watching a gos ha, unfortunately just missing its body but pulling three tail feathers out, A little way down the river a rabbit broke cover and there was a great flight with the rabbit giving its all, bird just missed the headbind by literally 1/2 inch, i was gutted not to get a kill

Well I moulted my female out like this 3 times, she came out feather perfect everytime, and the moult was quite quick, but I partly put that down to giving vermex every month, initially I used clover honey as well, but cant honestly say if it made any difference, dont worry about the feathers, they will be spot on mate, bow her out, feed her on the lure a couple of times a week, let her have loads of baths and she will come out mint, cant recommend the vermex enough mate. I use vermex aswell mate, great stuff like rocket fuel for feathers lol, gave some to my mate with the male that was h

This year after using the methods described one of my hawks tail feathers came out on the piss, few weeks into flying and it dropped whether it was down to the way i moulted him im not sure, luckily its started growing back, just noticed it the other day

What i find helps to keep them interested is to feed them a little of a full chick then take it of them placing them back onto their "perch" then shout them back instantly, that loss of food seems to get their attention. Also opening a chick up helps a little i find

Hows the thera black compare to surgical tubing mate? ive been told to try it. thera band black is no good on a catty without a wrist brace too hard to pull you will miss more if that makes any sense Cheers mate might give it a miss then
