  1. Wouldnt use 9mm steel for rabbits mate, 12mm or even 14mm steel is better. Not alot of margin for error with 9mm steel.
  2. Lovely dog mate, should make a good grafter, wouldnt mind another staffie pup myself
  3. No worries buddy talk all you like for me, its all relevant anyway ha
  4. If its all legal get it trapped and fly it at cats at night, you wouldnt even need a lamp lol
  5. Thats what i mean mate, no chance seeing any silhouettes with the leaves still on.
  6. Just remember mate lamping pheasants from their roost is illegal, so dont get caught lolSilhouetting against a cloudy sky is legal though and a lot more effective than shining a lamp round up trees I know mate, when i do it theres no lamps involved whatsoever cant see how its more effective though i know i wouldnt see half the birds if it wasnt for a lamp (in theory of course)
  7. How strong is the polymorph? Will it handle big heavy pull tubes without fear of breaking?
  8. I planned going for a quick shine with mine on the off chance the dozy git would decide to chase but its hounding it down here too
  9. Thats a shame mate was looking forward to seeing how he got on
  10. I think the one he is on about is yellow the weakest, red is middle strength, blue is strongest
  11. How you getting on mate, you had a kill this season with him yet?
  12. Great fun shooting roosting birds, especially with a catty
  13. Just remember mate lamping pheasants from their roost is illegal, so dont get caught lol
  14. It would have been a crying shame if it would have died, it was a lovely LITTLE thing, so i was glad when it was released
  15. Thanks mate will do, im out on the weekend flying with two mates with there male and female harris` so will hopefully have something to show
  16. Haha i added a various earlier on but luckily managed to save and release it after a couple of weeks of care lol, hes had plenty of opportunities on them as theres loads round here but he just seems to get his footing wrong, maybe because theres so many in such a small space
  17. Thanks bud, its the first one hes ever had, hes made plenty of dives but never seemed to be able to get a foot on them so it was a great feeling when i saw him with it
  18. Had a great day today, early this morning my mentors son came round asking if i wanted to go hunting with his 3lb 2oz female gos. Had 2 nice flights at a pheasant and seagull but we didnt manage to get them, still was great to be out watching another birds flying style, Kill number: 7 Got back late but managed to get out with mine for a quick fly, let him off and 2 seconds later i hear his bells as he dives into a covey of partridge, run over to him and hes sat on his prize, let him have his feed and went home
  19. Why sell to him then mate? Crow offered ages ago to have him off you and surely if youve seen how well hes done with his female you would have considered him first?
  20. Thanks mate, we should do with all 3 of them flying !
