  1. Generally correct. But if a FEO has deemed a piece of land unsuitable for anything above .17 hmr and you knowingly used a larger caliber, even with an open ticket, you are treading on thin ice. I don't normally disagree with you, but that's definitely incorrect. With an open ticket you can shoot where YOU deem safe (with permission of course). What the FEO deems safe is irrelevant, The conditions on your FAC clearly state this. Try it, shoot on a permission you know a FEO has deamed unsafe for a specific caliber. I had a permission that a FEO cleared for .22lr but not .17 HMR this was

  10. What about his other son, Seth? And his daughters? Seven children I think Adam fathered. Like any other religion if you do not understand don't question it, and if you don't believe it leave it to others that do. Unless one questions what one does not understand, how are we supposed to learn? That goes for anything in life. TC Some questions are not directed in such a way as to educate themselves, but more so to question why other believe, as in the last sentence of the op " how people believe that is beyond me"

  12. I'll have my tequila, you can have your Taqiyya. Another esxpert give me an explanation of Taqqiya? or is it your Tequilla talking? Taqiya? Allows Muslims to lie in order to protect themselves or to protect the Muslim community . No different really for what I would do for my family friends or what I believe in. Oh! And before I get branded a Muslim lover or anything else lol, I don't hold with any religion in any way shape or form, religion doesn't kill, but people will in the name of religion. Strange old world, but lets make the most of it. Merry Christmas to you all, and you D
  13. Apparently two anti hunt protesters fell into the river Derwent today, five hunt supporters who were near by attempted to save them from their fall but lost their grip. Shame really as it's a chilly day on the east coast today

  16. At least 1/2 pint of water before ya go to bed, an alkseltzer soon as ya wake up, normally works for me......... ( 15 pints and a few shorts) not to sure if the same works for heavy drinkers.
  17. Once knew a farmer up by Catterick who was once approached by the forces and asked if he could deploy men for night time manoeuvres training on his land, if they spotted poachers they would observe and follow them until the police arrived, kinda makes sense for both parties, but how true or widespread this is, who knows? Not bad training if thats happening. Explains a lot really, I thought I was being followed by a tank, but just put that down to the dodgy mushrooms I tried.

    Poachers

That's not poaching. That's being a prick. Honestly I didn't think that sort of thing ever happened....naive? Yes probably! No need to do it. It's just for spite. As said pheasants are ten a penny when the shooting starts. Go to the right shoot and they will give you plenty of free birds, saves them burying them
  19. Which busy English city centre will be first ? hate to say it but it's likely to happen
