just wondering if any of you lads ever use portomag boxes,for injuries and after hard days coursing etc. i know a lot of greyhound owners swear by them,and i just wanted to hear some opinions on them as i am thinking of getting one,cheers

you will probably find that the wires have come apart in the handle,its caused by stretching the cable when your lamping,my mates lamp is like it at the moment,and it has happend to my blitze.

i was told today that the absbo was lifted,the fine was so heavy and the asbo put on them because they get caught all the time but get away alot by saying their rabbiting,i was wondering really if other people get fines and car taken off them all the time.

just talking to a mate while walking the dogs and he said he read the antis reckon they are going to try and burn down tracks,has anybody heard or read anything similair.i wouldnt put anything past the fools

i have three bithes at the moment,all have missed a season for some reason,i just put it dwn to the cold weather.im waiting anxiously because i know when the one comes in,she will bring the other two in,and its gona be havoc in my kennelsthree bitches with pmt,could get nasty

I would probably say it was a cat too,they can queeze into some tight places,its a nightmare when something happens to ground and you havent a clue whats just gone on,like darcy just said there are no rules when it comes to terriers,you can sumise all you want but you will never know

ive seen olympic athletes and professional rugby players use tredmills,running machines etc in the gym i use. i think one would be handy now and again if you really didnt have time to exercise the dogs,but personally i like walking and getting the dogs fit myself,then you can take more pride out of them when they are running well,treadmills are the easy way out.

my mate has a saluki x greyhound (bitch)and has a coursing dog pup,he was asking me yesterday if i thought spaying the bitch would make any difference to her running ability,he has them kenneled together so needs to know if he needs to make plans to do something with one of them when the bitch is in season

MY MATE BRED A LITTER ABOUT A YEAR AGO,IVE ONLY SEEN ONE DOG OUT OF THE LITTER ITS A NICE LOOKING DOG ABOUT 29 INCHES THICK SET,AND FROM WHAT IVE HEARD HE CAN SHIFT,PERSONALLY I WOULD NEVER HAVE ONE,JUST DONT SEE THE POINT

FUNNY YOU SHOULD SAY THAT CHARLIE,SHE DOESNT DROP HARES,EVEN IF SHE KILLS THEM QUICK,AS THE NIGHT GOES ON LAMPING IM PRETTY SURE SHE STILL DROPS THE RABBITS,SHE DOESNT REALLY TIRE EASILY,SHE WOULD HAVE TO RUN A HELL OF A LOT OF RABITS TO TIRE HER,SHE IS LAMPING FIT,ANYWAY WE HAVENT GOT A GOOD NUMBER OF RABBITS NEAR US,IF WE WERE TO TAKE THIRTY IN A NIGHT IT WOULD BE A MIRRACLE,ITS NOT THAT THE DOGS COULDNT CATCH THEM ITS JUST THAT THE RABBITS ARE NOY HERE.

can any body give some advice please, my mate has a first cross saluki greyhound,2 year old shes good on hare and rabbit but once she has caught them she seems to bring them back a bit ,then just drops them,because she is so soft mouthed they get back up and run off and a few are then making a escape,the boy is very pissed off with this at the moment because he loves eating hare and rabbit,does anybody have any suggestions on how to stop this

just wondering out of all the foxes you call on a nights lamping how many do you actually get in close and how many do you catch,allso what area are you in,cos i know in different areas the foxes are lamped more than others

chilli thats exactly what ive always thought cabbi i know you can get stuff for greyhounds that makes them drink a lot of water and flushes them right out,could be worth a try,but if your that concerned try the vets for advice.

bullpit,i was told when playing rugby that to make sure our piss was clear all the time because when your piss is orange it means your dehydrated,i was told this by top fitness coaches before tourin south africa,as they were preparing us for the heat,i thought when your piss is orangeyour kidneys are not working properly.

hawkeye the red dog is out of chris moyes captain to a 5/8 greyhound 2/8 saluki 1/8 deerhound which is bred out of good stuff allso the white dog is sired by captain to a pure greyhound
