Strange thing is, up here in Scotland the public have access to all land! there are no trespass laws in Scotland! we have the right to roam any where we like as long as we close farm gates behind us and dont dump our rubbish we can go where we please! ;-) That's fine mate if you're out for a stroll but if you're carrying a firearm (even sub 12FPE rifles are firearms in the eyes of the law) without the permission of the land owner then you're fcuked as it's armed trespass...no ifs, buts or maybes -
If you go on to land with a firearm...even if it's in a case...that you don't have permission on then it's "armed trespass" and can lead to a prison sentence. Not advised

Fecking x boxes want smashing bloody things they have a lot to answe for I think the other thing is that he doesn't like all the walking. I've a new caravan park permission that i might hit on Sat. There shouldn't be a lot of walking involved so i may make him come with me to get a view of it all without so much walking. I have kinda forced the issue with him a couple of times as i want him to enjoy the things i enjoyed when i was a boy. How things change.
