  1. Can i ask what your FPS is with your current ft/lb's setting and pellet? Also...is it nessecary to clean the barrel every -100 shots? You're pretty much cleaning the barrel not long after it's been re-leaded and won't help matters
  2. You get what you pay for mate. AA Fields...Accupels and Powapels in my rifles
  3. same as the ground i have your heart in your mouth sometimes seen the dog on the verge sometimes not often but as i said your heart in your mouth Dodgy stuff mate. 1 daft rabbit and you're a dog down. Not for me
  4. Good stuff mate Bit close to the M'way for the dogs is it not?
  5. Brilliant mate. Love watchin the gundogs work
  6. Great write up and pics as usual mate...well done and great looking dogs Wish i had a perm or 2 like that
  7. Most mags have a rubber o ring around the rotating past of the mag which holds the pellets in the mag. I would check that 1st
  8. Are the pellets going too far and getting caught in the barrel as you rotate? Does the mag have a o ring to hold the pellets in the correct position in the mag?
  9. I don't know much about the retro fits either but have sorted several M/S setups. Is it always the 3rd pellet? Could you possibly post some close up pics of the bolt...both sides of the mag and the breach?
  10. Agreed mate...you're still in the dark ages. Get rid of the moths from you wallet and spend a few quid ;-)
  11. Do you have the key fob magnet then? Ive got one I can send you if you dont. Yeah, the switch.... Its not unheard of for the switch to be faulty. If the other chap isn't having it...would you sell it? I have a MK3 and no magnet.
  12. I just got a MK3 box and collar a couple of days ago for £70 with recorded delivery which cost £6.50. Delighted with it as it's in excellent condition. I made an offer on a MK1 box and 3 collars on ebay and the reply i got was that they wanted £175 ono. I nearly fell off my chair. In a round-about sort of way i told them to shove it. Why do peolpe think that they can shaft people with these things???
  13. Sorry if it's a bit off topic but is he familiar with S10's as 120 is a bit steep? There's not much in a service!
  14. I know it's an obvious 1 but have you tried new batteries?
  15. Nothing wrong with putting it through a 3-4 holer. I done it with mine at that age and they've bolted
  16. Nice mate. Great to see the Whippets. I've been taking my 16 month old Whippet out with the lamp on to the golf course permissions that i usually shoot on and he's been doing well. He hasn't managed to nail any yet but he has had some good chases. They seem hit the cover or go out the lamp too quick. He also comes straight back and lies at my feet on call or as soon as the rabbit goes out the lamp which i think is a great achievement in a short space of time. Is it just me or are rabbits hard to lamp on GC's? They seem to be able to run like f..k on the short grass
  17. That's some fine work there mate. You've every reason to be proud of your dogs
  18. What about an Ultra? There's 1 on here now for sale
  19. BSA Superten MK3 BBK .22? What's your rifle worth?
  20. Agree with above. I've just got kits this year for the 1st time since i was a boy and they're great...never bit me or the kids once. Since getting them we've been constantly handling them so they're well used to it and are really friendly. On top of handling them i'm always putting my fingers through the mesh and they come and sniff and play bite but never sink their teeth in. They even stand there while i rub their chins would you believe? They're very friendly creatures when handled regulary. I'm not so sure about hitting them if they bite. They're not as intelligent as dogs and i do
  21. Which scope is it that comes with it, how old is the rifle, how many pellets has been put through and has it been tampered with in any way? If it's decent scope and both scope and rifle are in very good condition and it comes with all those accessories then you're looking at £600 being a good price....even £650 with the 4 mags. Can't think why you'd need a spare air cylinder though as it's not the buddy bottle type
  22. So do the guys know how the cops found out they were there?
