  1. I don't have a lot of experience with these dogs but i've had a full Whippet for around 6 months and it sounds as though your Beddy/Whippet has the temperament of a Whippet. I have a GSP and a Weimaraner and they're always on the go, always full of fun and energy but my Whippet just lazes around doing nothing most of the time and when at home, you wouldn't even know he was there...............but put that wee dog in the field and he springs to life. When out on the lamp he's totally alert and focused. When out during the day, he goes and hunts and will charge through anything if there's a scen
  2. I enquired about getting my S10 to FAC and was advised that there is too much involved and best to buy a dedicated FAC rifle. Theoben Rapids are popular in FAC
  3. You tatty howkers are gonny get fcuked haha
  4. That's great news mate. I hope all goes well for you and your family
  5. Has your daughter came through it ok?
  6. At 7 months mate she's still a pup and views being outdoors as playtime. She's very young and can't be judged at that age. Keep working away with her and as she matures and grows out of her puppy phase she should come good
  7. You will get the same results from both rifles...accuracy, consistency and reliability. If you shoot mostly from a free standing position then the S200 being lighter would probably be a better choice but if you shoot from sticks then weight isn't an issue. Correct me if i'm wrong but the S200 isn't regged and only gives around 40 shots per fill whereas the S10 is regulated and will give 110-120 consistent shots before dropping off. Couldn't you buy a S10, compare them and sell 1?
  8. Av got a couple o jobs for ye if ye fancy pullin out the .50cal again haha
  9. I have a MK3 BBK S10 in .22 and love it. It is a bit on the heavy side compared to other PCP's but it's well worth the extra weight. Very accurate and the fact that it's regged and giving approx 110 full power shots then it's a S10 for me every time. I am however looking for a compact and lightweight PCP in .177 and it's gonna be a toss up between an Ultra and S200
  10. Haha ya cnut...he's no bad for an x army sniper...still got a wee bit to go though hehe
  11. A cheap and nasty SMK will always be a cheap and nasty SMK no matter what you do to it. A properly tuned HW will last a lifetime if well looked after. To suggest that the guy is gonna make an a..e of it is an insult. Get the best you can afford mate and go for it. You can pick up 97k in good condition for around 250-300 and fit something like a v-mach kit. Do some research online as there is loads of info on how to fit them. It's not rocket science. If you're half decent with your hands and have half a brain then it's fairly simple. I fitted my own and it really was simple. My 10 y
  12. Sorry mate...just see you're not splitting ;-)
  13. I'll have a mk3m collar if the price is agreeable ;-)
  14. It is widely accepted that the Weihrauch springers respond best to tuning. Depends on what you want. If you want a smoother rifle with less recoil etc then buy a PCP ;-)
  15. The dog's yours mate. You done the right thing telling him to fcuk off. Personally i think he was being a cheeky cnut to come and ask for the dog back
  16. It would be a 21.4 grain Bismag/Barracuda for .22. Not quite sure what the heaviest .177 would be as i've never owned 1
  17. I heard he was selling up...didn't know he'd finished.
  18. I've always found reward training to be the best form of training. Dogs will do anything for a biscuit. When out, simply call her while holding treat. When she comes, give it to her and praise her. She'll pick it up in no time. Once it's well established then gradually phase out the treat and just give her the praise Just remember that she's still a pup and that there will be more interesting things out there than you
  19. They can test with any commercially available pellet so you should be looking to achieve around 11.5FPE with the heaviest commercially available pellet
  20. As above mate. You need to know where the sweet spot is and do a string. The sweet spot may be from 170 down to 100 or something like that. Above or below and it will be erratic. The Combro seems fine.
  21. Have you had a look at pelletperfect.com? They sell samples. You can also buy samples from ebay. Do yourself and your rifle a favour and don't buy the cheap sh..e. Superdomes do work well in many rifles but apparently they lose energy quicker due to the slight domed head
  22. I have a 97K with v-mach fitted in excellent condition. It's not thumbhole however. It so smooth to shoot and is unbelievably accurate
  23. Looks too far back for a rib. A type of Hernia i would say. The vet will charge for a consultation. Make sure you ask all the questions before he talks you into an op. How serious is it? Is it life threatening? Will it affect her performance etc etc?
