Ive got a mcnab highlander here with a sporter style forend and an intentional discolouring to the metal work thats quite nice and cost me about 700 squid, shot a lot with it but im planning on going down the silver pigeon road

It should be the other way around Moll? Thats weird. They aren't over hot where you keep them or owt are they? Normally black and hard when fed on meat and sloppy when on biccies or tinned

I would say that unless youve got something 8ft high in there moll they will be alright. I don't think they're heavy enough to hurt themselves properly and baby ferrets are always knocking crap out of eachother and falling down the ladder in my two level cage and all it does is hurt their pride for about 5 seconds Looks like your doiong a grand job with them to me gnipper

Just got myself a silenced 410 today and had 2 woodies and a jay before. The range isn't as bad as i'd heard. Off for a crack at the bunnies in a bit with the 3" cartridges. I reckon ill do a lot with this gun, might be good for ferreting unnettable places. gnipper

Ok I had my name down for a silenced 410 at our local gun shop but they never got back to me and i was quite relieved coz someone told me it was only good for like 10/15 yards??? True or not? How much does the silencer knock off your range in the 12 bore version? Most of my shooting is either near houses or in the middle of about 12,000 game birds so I need to be quiet or its an air rifle job coz them birds don't half get jumpy Cheers , gnipper
