Just out of interest, what sort of tasks are gamkeeepers across the Uk up to this time of year? thanks

chris is right.....also you wold have to be a damn good shot to cleanly kill a pigeon with ball beaing to the head at 20 or more yards.....if you can do that time and time again then your laffing, but i think you would get frustrated with misses.....definatly a air rifle over a slingshot in my books...but if you are a good shot youll have no probs :11:

hi sound/looks like you 2 have been having fun..... can i ask if i wound or catch small vermin its easy to dispatch with a priest etc.. BUT what do you do when u catch a live fox in a snare??? shoot it with a shotgun ??? cheers WP

Hi brand new to this forum. I have quite a few woodies in my garden and they are s****** all over the place along with eating all the grass seed we put down. I have an air rifle but dont want to use it incase of any stray bullets going throuh the fences!! is there any way i can kill these pigeons, but i wont be able to buy snares coz the perants wont have it even tho my mum wants rid of them to..... any ideas ( home made traps?? maybe?? ) cheers sam
