  1. I thought the hob had to be in season to be castrated ie at about a year old? You'd also have to make doubly sure your vet hasn't fecked up and castrated like a lot have had done before.
  2. She's definitely a plucky little bugger for a Scottie dog
  3. If it wasn't our busiest time at work and I could get time off i'd have a go for a laugh, good luck to all who enter

  9. Yeah mate something like that. I think there is an army bag designed for carrying the radio which looks good for carrying the battery pack, I think it was strongstuff who had one on here that I saw. Cheers Degs
  10. I was thinking something like this http://www.militarymart.co.uk/load-bearing...ck/prod_61.html Degs unless there is anything better in there for carrying an 18 amp battery in which isn't too expensive.
  11. Are you planning on going in there soon Degsy? I could do with a decent rucksack for the lamp battery but theres no way i'm going into ormskirk shopping on a weekend its heaving even though there is pussy everywhere . If you see a decent one give me a shout, Cheers
  12. Is that the 3/4 kerry cross on the left? The merle looks like a bull greyx collie grey? They're looking good anyway
  13. Training should start as soon as the pups used to you imo mate, its always puzzled me why gun dog people leave the pup in a kennel till its 6 months old or more before training commences.
  14. It would probably be easier to get hold of a non ped whippet or a small grey mate.
  15. Never had it happen to me personally, good catch though. My mate had a magpie and a cat in one side of his larsen this year, the cat didn't touch it and they were both just sat there when he arrived
  16. cheers for the offer mate, tis a shame you are a fair bit away! just my luck! got a strong pup here aswell would benefit from some rat action! Whats your pup like with other dogs? If I can get somewhere sorted for a few rats I'll take you out with my pup. PM me your number or something.

  19. Get yourself down your local tips and stuff mate or just walk the ditches. If you keep your head down and its just you walking the dogs you'll be ok. I've got a few places but none good enough to take anyone on an invite at the mo but i'm asking around, if I find anywhere decent i'll give you a shout. I'm meant to be going to liverpool this weekend on an invite out ratting on a place thats meant to be heaving with em. If you look and ask around you'll find somewhere decent
  20. Hopefully this is a pic of my youngster which is related, 9 months now
  21. Looking good there mate, i've got a pup similar age off the breeder of your pups dam and he is mad keen for them. Out a few times a week at the mo doing the ditches and a farm i've got locally and getting a few but we need somewhere thats moving with them.
  22. Brilliant pics there mate, is there water near the hole? It doesn't look like there is thats all and i've never found a litter far from water, normally on ditch banks.
  23. I walked my old dog through a wood my mate had been ferreting last year and he said he couldn't find any even though the holes looked good and the dog marked all the shitty ones full of leaves to my mates surprise. The holes that look the best never seem that productive round here.
