    I've found that you get better results with a better hen than cock I agree the hen puts more into the chicks

    There used to be flocks of starlings round here but in the last three to four years I see hardly any maybe a flock of twenty or so same goes for the mallard there were quite a few breeding pairs on the river and even more on the fishing lakes this year and last year I have seen one pair on the river and none on the fishing lakes don't know if they are being controlled or not

    Yeh Spanish game I've had game birds all me life mostly shamo and Taiwans but I got these now the chicks were about 5 days old in a 9 by 6 pen I thought that would have been big enough for that age do you think?
