    I'm hoping it'll scare all the boys off with her rabbiting abilities . Pop,sweets and crisp on the way home too. I got the feeling it won't last forever but enjoyed it all the same.

    My little girl has been nagging at me to come hunting so at the age of Four I gave in. I was out early on with the hounds and after a cuppa and a bite to eat the next part of the day started. She love's to come for a walk with the dogs but we've never taken a ferret and nets and been intent on securing a bunny. I had a particular place in mind that I normally visit this time of year .A small ivy covered chestnut copse was the order of the day.     With nothing planned this week I took the little ones out early doors for a bit of exercise further a field. I took a few more pictures this time and thought I'd share. Nothing much in the way of hunting today but it's just a pleasure to be out and about with them. Happy hunting all

    I did a prank call on mr's RAW's grandmother the other night in a Jamaican accent . I was told " FORK OFF and to never ring this number again" When you've spent most of your early life fighting for a freedom only to spend your later years shrouded by political correctness a few offensive comment I can forgive. Plus I think he sounds like a right laugh

    One of the places I work on has a cat rescue in the grounds well an old couple that look after 14 semi wild cats. Not my cup of tea but each to they're own I suppose. I got chatting to them this morning and there a nice enough couple apart from the cat thing and they got around to telling me about a situation that occurred during the weekend. One of the cats hadn't been eating much and they noticed his jaw chatting in pain so they managed to trap him and pop him to the vets. hey informed me that the RSPCA normally help them out in these matters but they would not help with the cost beca

    Well I've just sat down after an eventful enough day and I clicked on a thread that inspired me to share the events with you all. This particular corner of the site seems very qiute so hopefully others will also feel the need to share in a sensible manner the highs and lows of they're time out with hounds. It's funny how us humans have those little habits and rituals that are hard to shake which our quarry also have and this can be a weapon that I try to keep in my armory.     It's important to tell others about good days or even bad days but the manner in which it's done should be written with an air of caution especially when there are people out there that hunt hunters with as much zealous as a good hound would hunt a fox. For me the who's the why's and when's are irrelevant the stuff in between is what interests me . It's nice to read people days out just leave out the details or unless your like myself and your hounds only hunt rabbits then tell the world but even I have to be mindful.
