    I made one out of an old child's walking stick , very light and grew attached to it in the end. Until I decided to place it on top of the truck loading the hounds and that's the last I saw of it . I also did a repair on this one using the same method with just an old boot, glue , stanely knife and a saw. It's not too pretty but practical .

    From my own experience and bossie touched on this slightly too. Spaniels seems to have just one gear and that's flat out but a terrier will pick the pace when close to quarry which is exciting to say the least for you and the running dogs. It may be that I haven't done too much with spaniels but I find them harder to read than they're little cousins and my lurchers do also. A terrier that hunts two field away is no good as a busher to me or anyone .

    Your lucky your not inundated with PM's I don't think this lot has cottoned on your a lady yet . By the looks of things your in the right part of the world to start a pup off . Just be careful who you go out with .........there is more than a few idiots out there. How come you got into dogs ??

    I know nothing about photography but would like to take a pic ( hence the title lol) of the lurchers in full stride. ....... Is it something to do with shutter speed ?, not that I really know what that means. Can it be done on a phone without the paulus effect ? Thanks in advance for any replies
