    A lad on our allotments is giving a duck n drake away..2 yr old ..laying (duck ) ..leeds area.

    Cheers bob...they are just a bit lighter than the pack of 7n concrete blocks i have, i suppose if i paint them they should be ok.

    Ive just been given a lot of concrete blocks..the guy said they are the sort that goes inbetween concrete joists to make a floor . what i want to know is..are they for internal use only or could i use em outside in the british weather ?.

    did you feed them ?. I put one "kestral" on a pot with no feed, just kept topping it up with compost and got hardly any. but on the other pots i topped up with pelleted manure and compost plus watered with comfrey and they did very well.

    I had to test the theory... ..{there not aggressive when they swarm}. 10 year a bee keeper eh..what hives you use ?. ive just got permission from the allotments to keep a hive ..im going for a top-bar Just be honest with the answer to the bird ringing question.. The trainer who does it all is worth that bit of extra mileage.

    Bees eh...now that got my attention..i saw a swarm today ...WOW..what a sight , i was working at a hotel when a humming/buzzing sound got louder and louder until the air above us went nearly black. my work mates bolted for it as well as hotel staff..me..i just sat there and watched..honey bees all around ..it was awsome. they eventually settled on a chimney and dissapeared inside. Well done on the permo..every bit counts How did you get on with the ringing ? anything come of it ?.
