  1. Think I've got some video of me shooting a 50 cal with tracer out in the omani desert.. And your right its awsome! Ill see if I can find it. I know my 22 rimmy is shooting at 1051fps giving it about 100 ft lbs of energy, puts rabbits to sleep very well. ATB Adam
  2. Umm sounds like a call to the police might be the best thing, even if its just to make them aware that you might be on some antis radar ATB Adam

  6. Ive got a Mk 2 in .22 Amazing rifle, alot of the Rapid owners look down on them but they are fantastic rifles I sent mine to A&M Custom Gunsmiths to have a service and It shoots like a dream! ATB Adam
  7. Nice shooting Skot... made a mess of your mates floor though ! ATB Adam
  8. Nice grouping at 42yrds Is it a 22 or 177cal? Try zeroing at 30 yards that's the generally accepted zero for .22 or 35yrd for .177 (although you can have whatever you want) My 22 super ten loves H&N FTT and Accupels - and with practice these rifles are more than capable of putting every pellet through the same hole Lovely rifle, hope you enjoy it & thanks for the pics ATB Adam
  9. Ive had a look at one and taken it apart - I was under the impression that on the hugget the shroud dosn't really do anything extra but look pritty, there is no way for the air to get from the silencer or the barrel back down the shroud and out the nice vents at the bottom (from what I saw) they also are machined in a way once you have the shroud fitted you cant fit another silencer. My personal opinion is - the silencer itself is very good (par with the HW), the silencer and shroud combo dosnt give enough for the money, however they do look very smart. Perhaps you should speak to Risi
  10. What Magnification are you using mate? ATB Adam
  11. I love my 97k now... I wasnt too impressed with it when it was 'new' Marksman kindly fettled mine at the last THL meet and now its smooth as silk! shooting lovely groups with the Pax 4.50 HFTs it loves them. Glad you like yours ATB Adam

  14. The only ringing that old codjer could hear was his tetanus!!!!!!! I was stood next to you and I could see and hear you hit the plate every time! (you were lucky to do that) Fair play you did it with that old bsa thing, but till the day I die ill protest that old mans words!!!! I also like how its gone from once with the BSA (the truth) to once with the BSA and twice with the jeffries (utter dribble from the old man) and now to your version of twice with both!!!! (away with the fairys!) But hey we both did better than the springer shooter eh! ATB Adam
  15. I had mine dipped thats why I took mine off, its not a massive job to do wont take you long mate ATB Adam
  16. I do indeed know, but the question is... why would you want too? unless you have a vice like grip you will need an adjustable spanner and a strap wrench Take the action from the stock Take the pressure out of the bottle - you can do it the long way by firing every shot off.... or if you loosen the pressure valve it will vent all the air in the bottle Then the bottle simply unscrews .. well with a little persuasion ATB Adam
  17. Both very good, you would probably be hard pressed to find a clear winner out of the two on paper, but the pro sport just looks the nuts ATB Adam
  18. It wouldnt of been worth the 10hour round trip mate, you didnt miss much ATB Adam
  19. Went today, was alright, It was better a cupple years ago at Newark... but i did come away £250 lighter in the wallet this time Not really enough Airgunning stalls, that could have been better Good to see all the familiar faces though and Davy thinking he hit the bell target twice ... that still makes me laugh!! ATB Adam
  20. Looks much bigger on the vid! (thats what they all say) The marksman mod is really good.... as it turns out really good on 22LR too ATB Adam
  21. Good vid Darryl, what silencer is on that verminator? looks bigger than my x3!! Silencer envy ATB Adam
  22. I really like sitting position, used to do it for the combat shooting at work. I find sitting Indian style (legs crossed) with my elbows resting on the inside of my knees best for me, can be done feet crossed or feet uncrossed depending how flexible you are & you can use the pressure from your knees and elbows to get a really good firm position. Generally your body inst facing directly at the target its angled slightly so that your rifle points naturally at the target Its really what your comfortable with just keep trying thats the best way Hope this is of some help or might be
  23. I agree with Pianoman You should never scrimp on the optics, accuracy is the main part of air gun shooting and you will find it much harder with poor optics ATB Adam
  24. Great read and very good shooting, keep up the good work ATB Adam
