Having issues with the buddy bottle at the minute.. the primer is working really well but the spray I don't think is a good enough quality for the task or is too thin?? literally as soon as I do one pass its running down the bottle... im doing it a decent arms length away so im not too close.. Anyone any tips on the spraying process? mainly to prevent runs and excessive buildup and get a nice even coat - im only giving very light coats, long sweeps starting the spray above the bottle and finishing past the end of the bottle a good distance away and moving round whilst spraying to avo

If your new i suggest an s200 with a Hawke panorama with some sort of mag between 4-16 they are good for people just starting out and come with a match barrel so the accuracy is great, the scope isnt ridiculously priced and you can use the hawke software to calculate your balistics ATB Adam -
your not looking at the bigger picture mate, its not about putting these things together, its the cost of manufacturing the vital components to the tolerances your looking for after someone's fettled it by hand for hours on end. these rifles will be made on cnc machines and the allowable tolerances will be given with the plans. for instance you ask me to make you something from mild steel, you give me tolerances of 40 thou i'll give you a price, then you ask for the same thing to be made but with a tolerance of a micron i'll give you a price that'll make you throw up I fully understa

WAIT, just one cotton picking moment Ladie's Hold your twennytwoo's n onesenenty sevens! THINK Before you line up that crosshair and press the fecking trigger "Ring Neck" Parrakeets are on the GL's But others are not (yet)!!! There are a couple of Parakeets in the centre of this god forsaken sh!te hole, but I can't just wander down the town centre and pop em off (much as I'd like to) even though I could do it without someone bitching about the 50ft rule For this pair aint Ringnecks The noise you describe suggests they are ringnecks, but please check I'd hate to fin

never knew that! every days a school day.. Go american on them... shoot first and when everything is dead.. then ask questions Just get out and blast em mate Edit: oh and get some pics

fully agree again mate And straight out of the box I wouldn't be too impressed, but being as I bought it second hand and i've got the chance for the guy who designed the rifle to fettle it and turn it into an fac with a new reg.. ill take him up on that one If i was paying 600 / 700 outright I would expect everything to be in tolerance without flaw.
-
Fully appreciate that buster mate, but Is that not the same as sending it for a blueprint or just keeping it as a regular s10? or sending a rapid off for KevG to fettle and just keeping it 'out the box'? at the end of the day whatever anyone does to a rifle is personal preference and im not saying you should or shouldn't have it done or just buy a new rifle all together, just putting it out there that I would blueprint it as I believe its worth it

cheers mate, yeah got to get the pictures in shows a lot more than my ramblings
-
Yes what was I ever thinking! I might have to polish right back yet, I have all the stuff to do it so its not a drama, but if it turns out ok its a bonus and a time saver cheers for the comments lads

To be fair though I know a few lads that have had work done to HW100's and Rapid 7's in order to get them shooting right. BSA Super 10's shoot fine out of the box when you could buy them new, its just that having a blueprint turns a good rifle into a fantastic rifle ! I don't doubt that for a second mate but how often do we hear about Rapids, HW's, S410's or any other pcp for that matter being "blueprinted"? Not very often as they usually shoot superb from the box...except maybe for a few. It just seems to be BSA's. That seems to be (going by by what i've read anyway) because BSA made

A Competition Idea For The Thlf July Meet.
AR177 replied to zini's topic in General Airgun Discussion
If you only get 8 shots i think it could easily be spring vs pcp ( anyone vs anyone ) If there is any element of speed then its rather unfair but on pure accuracy alone... that will be interesting ! -
cheers Aaron mate

Hello all, If you have read part one you will know what going on So ill pick up from where we left off, All camo removed, stock looking decent and left drying ready to stain and oil..... came to stain the stock and got out my trusty Birchwood-Casey stock finishing set with the walnut stain... and the stain was empty .. looks like I had finished it off when i did the s10 stock .. but.. adding a bit of water into the bottle managed to get me just enough diluted stain to give a very light stain, which overall was the exact amount I needed I emphasized the grip check
