    I use the Panorama EV 4-12x50 IR EV and have nothing but good things to say about the scope. I was put onto this model scope by SI PITTAWAY who uses it and said that he rated it high, so knowing as much as Si does about guns/scopes i was more than happy to follow him. Previuosly to this scope i had the Hawke Eclipse scope which was fine but i wanted more from a scope. I have gone for the Map6a reticule and i can't praise it enough, the "cross-hairs" enough, they are so fine that nothing is lost behind the hairs. So i can't recommend this scope highly enough 10* Plus. ATVB Roger

    Blinking heck what have you done? Mind you at least you went for a colour that goes with most colours, so colour co-ordination is easier for you. Hope you (i was about to put "Are back on your feet" but thought it's not the right thing to put. For the next thing i thought of writing was "Hope you heal" but that is wrong again.     If you don't mind me joining in, i will second, third and fourthly agree that since hearing Si praising its optics. I went out and purchased one, replacing another Hawke scope, this one was a Hawke Eclipse which worked fine. But when the Panorma was bolted onto my AAs410 and both Si and Davyt63 (who are two of the most decent, honest and skilled people it's been my pleasure to meet) set-up my "set-up" it has become a killing machine. I now have such beautiful clear optics and the correct details regarding mil-dots that, if i can not see its head and have to go for heart shot that the bird

    Not very good practice not to hold onto the cocking lever while you load pellet is loaded, if you have an accidental firing say goodbye to end of thunb.

    It wasn't a stupid post. I took it as someone was giving us a little bit of information to do with it as we wish. I don't think it was meant for us all to go and rush to buy one, rather than to let us as responsable shooters what is out there. If this guy that is selling such an item indeed a gunsmith. I for one think that he should be reported to the authorities for being totally irresponsible. As the other person said "Ban guns", if we are not very careful and very responsible i can see the day when guns for the masses are banned. Roger

    Hello to everyone, I would like to try and film some of my shooting and have a Hawke Panorama 4-12x50 and wanted to mount an adaptor into the scope. To save me carrying my gun through the city centre to the camera shop, i was wondering if anybody knew what the thread was in the scope. The scope eye piece has a rubber bit but i think with care i can fold the rubber out of the way to allow me to screw an adaptor into it. What i am after is a mount that is done by threads and no insulating tape in sight, i dont mind having to go through many adaptors. Thanks Roger
