    heres the thing.. i WANT (dont actually NEED, as i have a decent springer already that does the job) a new shiny pcp but im LEFT Handed, and know almost nothing about the hw100 range.. few years back i had a left handed beech stock s410k .22 with left handed bolt etc was wondering if the side cocking lever thingy mabob on the 100 comes in left handed, somewhere i read that the thumbhole version is 'ambidextrus'. it would be more awkward having to move my eye from the scope to re load/cock the rifle if it had a right handed bolt/lever thingy when i had 410 before it waas a case of m

    i also have a one month old hw97kt brand new.. but im keeping it its mine!! thinking about getting a pcp tho but would need filling equipment and whatnot.. looking at a lot of money.. plus i only have 1 small permission at the mo, and im going on hol so need to save for that. plus im left handed lol

    cheers for that wedge pal i didnt think there brain was so big i usually try aim next to the eye, in line with it or slightly higher up, but each to their own lol theres a lot of people that say anywhere in the head will do, and most of the time its true.. but i always remember one shot i did.. standard rabbit, side on headshot usual scenario, but i landed my .22 bang on his/her nose... when i got there it was rollling into the floor nose first like it was in pain and trying to get the pellet out of its nose. anyway i finished it off straight away so it didnt suffer.. to

    first shot slow motion.. sounds like the aliens were trying to abduct something!! second rabbit . to me it looks like the pellet impacted about where the cross was so the hold under was slightly mis-judged..no dis respect meant for the shooter tho, still a good clean kill and no suffering, we all make mistakes eh- 'perfect' shot placement would have been about an inch--inch.and.half higher... into the brain. in my oppinion..(im going to get slated for this comment arent i) third rabbit.. looks like it heard the click of the gun and tried to squat in reaction to this, but the pellet was

    same thing happened to me twice in half an hour 2 weeks ago. first squirrel shot stone dead hanging upside down from top of tree blood dripping out of side of its head clinging on with crossed legs. shot its legs a few times aswell but nothing was getting it down. second one was half inside the V of the tree facing down, bang side of head exploded and instead of it falling out it just stayed there with its tail and 1 back leg popping out. was looking forward to a bit of fried squirrel aswell

    another great vid si really enjoyed that. i bet id probably get 3/3 to about 10m maybe 15m, absolutely no chance at 25m!! like you said tho we have to give the quarry as much respect as possible and the percentage of standing un-supported shots we take at live animals is minimal. we should always take rested whenever posssible, even at close range 10yards for example, id still walk to a tree to lean against before i took a shot, or kneel down. if your not confident you dont take the shot its as simple as that. keep the great vids coming pal oh and all the best of luck with yo

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kck_xFOJkJ4&feature=plcp http://s1252.photobu...broken%20scope/ that should be working? hope ive done it right lol basicaly my zooom on my ags elite tactical mildot 3-9x40 scope has gone funny and i thought it was affecting the accuracy so i did a 10 shot grouping (not hardly any noticable wobbling) at 27 yards with shocking results i then changed the scope to my hawke sport hd 3-9x40 and zeroed it and then did the same around 8-10 shots, but on 3 of them i definatly wobbled pretty bad :/ lol anyway if you can see the pics on the photob

    got a ags 3--9x40 mildot elite tactical on at the mo. got a hawke hd 3-9x40 spare but i think my ags is broken??! when you adjust the zoom ring it should be smooth but it goes from stiff to slack? and if you zoom all the way whilst looking through it surely it would be a smoot zoom, but it goes from 3-5ish smoot then stopps then [bANNED TEXT] u turn it to about 7 it does nothing then all the way to 9 it starts zooming again? think theres deffo sumthing fishy going on with it. might put the hawke on n see [bANNED TEXT] thats like because today at 34 yards i was getting really wide, spo

    title... fancy sumat nice with better zoom an slightly bigger than the 3-9x40 i have at the mo perhaps 4-12x44 or 4-16x50 just dont want to be forking out an arm and a leg haha thanks lads.

    i had s200 with 10 shot conversion, and s410k both .22 few years back only 2 pcps ive had they wer both amazing and not much between them accuracy wise. infact id probly rate the 200 better and i only paid about half as much as i did for the 410!! stil great choice but if i was you id deffo try keep hold of one of the springers good luck anyway

    top rock dove bottom feral pigeon right turtle dove ?? i saw a rock dove at one of my permisions a few years back and at a glance i thought it was a feral so i lined up the scope and found the target, zoomed in and something didnt look quite right. its green neck seemed too shiny so i left it alone! if in doubt... dont shoot

    i love my 97kt. and the 97 i had a few years ago. my mate had 3 's and i didnt like any of them, its down to personal preference really mate. both will do the same job very well and there isnt much between them accuracy and power wise.. so pick each one up and handle it and whichever you like most go ahead and make a purchase

    at least he was all camoed up looking like a ... hunter ... that should be responsible.???! if it was a group of chavs pointing crappy chinese rifles at people drinking an shouting then there may be a concern for public saftey or whatever. if i was walking past id have not been worried about getting shot so id have left him to it thats just my oppinion tho

    its a tough one this, you dont want to disturbe them from working eating or sleeping and thats really all they do lol it was about 6-7pm when i was riding past on bike and he was already in the yard talking to a couple of guys so i waited for there convo to finish then i said excuse me just as he was on the way back to the garden... i think its rude to disturbe them really so we cant seem to win! i wouldnt want to go knocking on there doors.. but sometimes thats all we can do i suppose..

    pretty much. your lamping and theres 4 rabbits sat next to eachother. aa s410, hw100 owt like that an ur guna get at least 2-3 before the other runs away whereas if you get 2 with your springer your lucky! whereas ferals.. there so dumb haha why oh why dont they fly away!

    ive just seen a farmer and i was wearing trakkies, old scratty rebok classics with socks tucked out, and a chavvy-ish nike fleece. i was riding the push bike tho haha so il get away with that 1 i think. anyway told him ive been shooting pigeons for another local farmer who he knows and he took my number . said he had a few regulars but hel keep me in mind. i think he might be speaking to my other farmer and asking about me first before he gives me a call to see if im alright..thats what id do if i was a farmer anyway.!

    cant beat a good springer! and i also think kills feel better got a 40-45 yard squirrrel other day with the 97kt made my day id only had 3 very close range kills up to that stage of the morning. (good stalking on my part actually lol) obv good old multishot silent pcp for serious pest control has advantage.. but if you just want the odd bunny for a stew everynow and again cant beat a springer!!
