We are just looking at it from our point of view but I bet you will find forums with Pakistanis being just as racist to us. This forum only seems big as you use it, to anyone else it's just full of the same old shit that you can read on most forums. That assumes that those objecting, like Fiennes, actually believe that the hunts aren't actively killing foxes. They don't I'm afraid. These days the majority of people are pretty disgusted by the thought of fox hunting. On the subject of anonymity you'd be amazed at the amount of folk who don't strip the EXIF data from their images before posting them... Everything from GPS location of where the picture was taken to the model of phone it was taken with all left there for anyone with the inclination to take a peek at. Something that should bother folk even if they're not posting anything illegal, I mean would you want to hand dog thieves/antis the exact location of where you keep your dogs when you post a couple of snaps taken in your yard?

Depends how you're connecting to the internet. Home WiFi then obviously the have your IP same as if you're using a PC and if you're using mobile internet they'll have location data from the masts. Mobiles are actually probably the least secure way to connect to the internet anonymously...

Nothing really it's highlighting how some of the content posted in GT could be conditions for the site to be pulled. I don't think anyone is offended but that's not the point. Honestly I'd hate to see the mods cracking down but at the same time I'd hate to see the site being taken offline because of certain posts. Definitely a hard balancing act for the mods/admins.

That's fair enough, but I would suspect most, like myself, aren't the type to 'report', which I know makes me part of the problem. It's not about being offended, it's about common sense when it comes to preserving a hunting forum of which 90% of content is fine I'm sure.I think a greater effort by mods & IanB is the answer, but maybe I'm being naive? I can't even see a way to report a post on the mobile version of the site? Not that I'd use it anyway, I'm not grass!

Thylacine are extinct unless anyone has any concrete evidence to prove otherwise. Cats in the UK are far more likely but until concrete evidence is presented to the public, and the peer review is a little stronger than Socks having a dart round to check the photos I'll remain on the sceptical side.
