  1. "We will never join the Euro" - it was never going to happen. Never, ever an issue !"No involvement in "ever-closer union" - we've never had any and have been exempt since Thatchers days ! "Opting out of open border schemes" - we already have and had no intent of ever taking part ! "Safeguards for financial operations in the City" - the government has gone to the European court several times, to challenge EU policy on banking, claiming it is too restrictive ! So most of the conditions of our "new, special relationship" already exist and have for some time ! Lies upon lies upon lies !
  2. I think when it comes down to it most folk will do exactly that, vote with their gut
  3. Not without violating the Good Friday Agreement they can't
  4. You put up the wrong link pal, that's the one walshie asked you to PM to him
  5. This referendum doesn't have anything to do with the ECHR. We'll still be signed up to it even after Brexit. It's entirely seperate to the EU.

    Essex Badgers

They send in the Pied Piper of badgers, Brian May
  7. Can anyone really see Boris coming out in support of Leave (but not campaigning or debating Cameron on it, wouldn't want to rock the boat too much!) effecting anyones vote? Seems to me most folks views on The EU are already pretty firmly set and I can't see the undecideds being swayed by some politician or other telling them which way to vote, it's a pretty personal decision for most folk, IMO. The politicians are just a side show for the media to focus on.
  8. This referendum is a beautiful thing, bringing folk from across the political spectrum together I think "together" might be pushing it. Let's just say the constant nagging urge to pummel your head in is less pressing than usual. Ah come on you know you love me really pal

  11. Sad isn't it, seems when we were growing up with the strikes and The Troubles politics was all we talked about and we all genuinely wanted to change the world for the better, this generation is so apathetic it's no wonder the c**ts in power feel like they can get away with anything As long as they've got their PlayStations and Facebooks they couldn't give a shit about anything else when it's them that's getting f****d the hardest!
  12. IF i can convince family members and work mates i believe i have done my bit. It's a good start Obviously not everyone will have the spare time or be suited to knocking doors etc but we all need to do our bit Trouble is i work with the play station generation and trying to get the lazy fekers to think different is a job in its self. Aye it's an uphill battle getting the younger generation engaged in politics. First step should be making sure they're all registered to vote, get some forms to leave in the breakroom and bully them all into filling them in

  14. I hope you'll all be doing your bit getting out there and campaigning for a Leave vote Need folk out there knocking doors and volunteering at phone banks, not just chatting on forums and down the pub.

  20. Someone that's on FB should post a warning to anyone thinking of dealing with the little rat, I know I wouldn't want to unknowingly buy nets off a charity fraudster
