Bout time this topic got back to were it was

make good rabbit dogs. got 2 beddy xs. A halfx bedy whip x bedy whip. and a bitch with a bit less bedy in. I like bedy crosses . I find them very loyal little dogs and allways looking to please. I find when young they can throw a def ear but mine soon grew out of that. id recomend a whippet x bedy whippet to anyone looking to start off wit rabbiting. Easy to keep, easy to train and very loyal.

ive a old lab here now was well worth his place in his day. hewas a athletic lean dog not a fat lap dog as alot of labs are. he worked very well up untill he was 10 years old. he was allso used for ferreting netting ratting hunting and flushing to lurcher and more. He was regularly worked on pheasents rabbit partrige. this dog killed 2 foxes. i no its no feat but for a lab i think that grit to kill is quite hard to find in my expirience in labs. i could go in all day with acounts about this dog from hunting mink on river banks to shooting grouse. this dog is at home with me this very day. nev

i dont know about beeing every ones choice but i like them. mine keep me more than happy. if bred from good workers i think they are hard to match when it comes to rabbiting

shame theres so much bitching that goes on , folks should enojy the sport and enjoy the craic with one another not bicker and bitch about whose dog done what, think to many blokes get cort up in th ebitching through jelousy, insted of running another mans dog down, just be happy with whats in your kennels and enjoy your sport, no need for all the crabbing . just my oppinion .
