  1. Hmmm. I think that says rather a lot about you. And not in a good way. The words selfish, self centred and irresponsible spring to mind. No decent dog man worth his salt would contemplate lining an elderly bitch of unknown age ("she must be 8 at least") to produce a first litter. You had to try her three times and everything went "fine....ish".....??? Pratt. Oh....and if you use the 'old chestnut' that I'm a woman again, you'll make yourself look even more of a twerp than you already are. Go away and learn how to look after dogs properly before you spout such drivel.
  2. I'd want to know too. Otherwise I'd drive myself mad wondering what had happened to her. Well done.
  3. It's a great book...very informative.
  4. She really I stunning. All three are. I don't know much about Alaunts or Bull crosses... so thanks for the info, it's really interesting.
  5. She's awesome. Are the dogs with her, her parents?
  6. I agree. We had a Lurcher bitch who came from a long line of fox dogs, but when it came to the crunch she couldn't handle it....absolutely lost the plot, pee'd herself, ran off, everything. My husband decided to let her focus on rabbits, which she loves...she's a brilliant rabbiter...she's a day dog....she tackles any cover and gives 100% all the time. He says she's the best rabbiting dog he's ever had. She's Bedlington/Whippet/Grey. Her Dam was Bedlington/Strong Whippet and her Sire was Bedlington/Grey first cross. Thirteen years old now and still going strong.
  7. Oh that is sad. Loyal, brave dogs like him are special.
  8. Call RSPCA. They'll remove the herd tp a place of safety and then they're no longer your problem.

One more thing...make sure you get a few big knuckle bones in for the dogs when the police do visit. You don't want them barking and carrying on then, the knuckle bones will keep them occupied.

Rather than killing her cats and lowering yourself to her standards, I'd suggest you call the local police station and calmly report her aggravating behaviour. Tell them the situation is somewhat inflammatory and you don't want to enter into discussions with her yourself, fearing a backlash of abuse, towards you, your son and your animals. Explain to the police that you've already lodged a complaint regarding her unacceptable behaviour with the RSPCA and that you'd appreciate their input to avoid any further angst. In summary, I'd suggest you remain calm and immediately take the high ground
  11. Very healthy, fit looking pups.
  12. Good luck..it's bloody hard work, but very rewarding. It's often the Bull bitches that reject pups. As someone else said, don't be afraid to pester your vet if you feel out of your depth.
  13. Very smart kennels...I like the ferret set up too.
  14. Totally agree with you. I was chatting to a neighbour recently and he was raging about a nearby shoot, saying how cruel it was and how it made him sick. I pointed out that he and his wife served grouse at their Xmas party, as the main course! We were there. He couldn't understand why I challenged him on it and kept saying "yes, but I didn't kill them". What an idiot.
  15. ....that made me giggle jackoleeds. Lol.
  16. That's a really shit joke. And it also fuels my theory that you're a bit obsessed with sex, due to your lack of, err....action.
  17. You seem to have a lot of hatred and bitterness towards your mum.
  18. The Whippet bitch could encounter problems trying to deliver pups sired by a Bull/Wheaten. A friend of ours lost three pups and almost lost his bitch too, with a similar mating. It would be better if the Dam is Bull/Wheaten and the Sire is Whippet...makes for a much less dangerous whelping.
  19. It's bitter sweet isn't it? My dad had a litter last year and we all had a tear in our eyes when they left for their fantastic new homes. You must be very proud, the litter is stunning and your bitch is lovely too...so alert and pleased with herself. Good luck little pups!
