Anybody in Dublin be diggin Xmas morning

Few years passed I went for a dig early Xmas morning with a mate. We had a good morning and got a few dogs worked, dug two big places that usually always hold in the afternoon. Got back home just in time for dinner couldn't have timed it better. Thing is a few other local lads headed out on boxing day for their BIG HUNT they wernt too impressed when most of the spots they tried were sitting with a nice fresh sod on them from the day before.. Ha ha..... Happy Xmas lads ...MUDD... -

There's been a few I know of in the past from the pound that have turned out well, I myself would rather have breeding behind any pups I'm rearing.... Thing also I've noticed on a few occasions. a young dog no matter how well bred etc that didn't make the grade in one mans yard and if for example had to be returned to who bred it or someone else, turned out to be first class !! Change off yard, surrondings, lifestyle all could play a part. That alone shows rearing or how they're run on does make a difference. Atb

aye but i bet ya wont be saying that when ya cheap wee show type at around 2 yrs old is coming away from everything or even wont go to anything, save ya money darlo and go for a crossbred cos there your best bet!!!!! How can you say that and be serious ? I've seen two w@nkers off terriers bred by arseholes though they happened to produce cracker working dogs as a result. Also well bred genuine worker to worker terriers bred that won't throw damn all. The breeding does help alot but as the man says its all to do with how you run them on.

If the line of your dogs in question are famous for starting early, as you have stated. Have the early starters made the grade and still doing the job ? IMO at that age etc I would be looking a few sods over the dog, sure it would be rude not too !

Plenty off maxi about this season, that's jmo in certain areas I lamp. I dont target bunnys ip, still a run for a dog so why not. It comes and goes. At the minute it's thriving
