  1. Absolutely pathetic and they don't bother reporting some of the atrocities that go on in other countries daily. Mind you people buy the shite
  2. Better that way than some dragged out illness I guess
  3. Ok deal mate can I meet you tomorrow will pm for info
  4. weihrauch hw77 good condition recently tested and putting out 11.4 with scope and 2 or 3 tins of pellets The scope on it is a 3-9x50 and pretty old hence the slight rust on the mounts but I will throw in an as new too hawke sport hd 3-9x50 £210.00 Would also swap for a shotgun over and under or side by side must be in good mechanical order but not worried about looks West Wales area
  5. How difficult is a 4.10 as a first gun well second but that was over twenty years ago. Reason I ask is I need a hushpower and if I settle for a 4.10 it gives me more choice of guns with in my budget of 200-300 any more would incur the wrath of the wife. Main use will be rabbits on the lamp which is close work and I suspect the 4.10 would be fine with but I would also like too do a little bit of rough shooting and pigeon decoying Our pet cocker puts up a few snipe over the winter which I fancy for the table.
  6. If it is the snipped hobs first effort I would be tempted too try him on one first
  7. On the plus side it sounds like the present ones are well looked after. My self I was getting stressed about having one unwanted litter I have landed my self with this year let alone 7
  8. Here are some pics The scope on it is a 3-9x50 and pretty old hence the slight rust on the mounts but I will throw in an as new too hawke sport hd 3-9x50

  10. Good site with some very tidy people on it and quality posts
  11. Did you have them all put down ? Personally if mine is I will have too have them put down then I will have both jills spayed and the hob castrated and that will be it job done which in hind site I should have done in the first place but I took the vets advice
  12. My dog tom was an all rounder he caught rabbit, hare and fox that was good enough for me. Sadly came too a tragic end as all the good ones do unfortunately
  13. I wonder if sending the bits away is a bit of a get out clause for vets too. As in if you don't do it then find out the opp didn't work you can't complain. I declined to send the bits away as it cost as much as the op its self. My jill is either pregnant or having a phantom pregnancy only time will tell I guess Just wondering how I will stand with the vet if it hasn't worked. Sorry Phil for going bit off tangent
  14. Maybe test him on one first doubt the rest will keel over in 42 days time best too be safe. Only done one of my jills the other will have too wait until I know. Bad enough having one unwanted litter put down let alone two. Just following sound advice and common sense really off the forum here
  15. My vet said 6 to 8 weeks so that is what I went with
  16. Looks like a dam nice hedge that one good fine there
  17. Yea good little read that. It does get addictive the ferrets and the ferreting. I started back after a 20 plus year gap and at first thought I was mad but I now feel back at home again. As for the hob playing about plenty of handling over the summer and being picked up off the floor. Also run through some pipes as suggested on the forum here else where worked a treat for my two
  18. Thats a shame you might feel different in time though
  19. Not boring at all mate good read and a tidy morning despite the thorns
  20. What channel ? cant find it at moment ah found it http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007tcw7
  21. My hob would at the moment that's for sure he would make Pepe Le Phew look like mr everglade carpet fresher
  22. I had front line on mine a week or two later they got ticks but with in days they had gone by which time I had ordered a tick twister after advice on here. But it will come in very handy in the future
  23. Thanks chaps will give another week or two
  24. I put my in season jill in with the vac hob at the weekend but he dived on her and started biting her head and face rather than her scruff. She fought back and all hell let lose with her screaming and giving off that musky smell they do when frightened so I opened the door and let her leg it out of there. A couple of weeks prior he serviced my other jill and there was just a bit of squeaking and that was it went much smoother. I think I am just getting too soft in my old age I might just get the jill jab instead for her.
