  1. Looks like a dam nice hedge that one good fine there
  2. Yea good little read that. It does get addictive the ferrets and the ferreting. I started back after a 20 plus year gap and at first thought I was mad but I now feel back at home again. As for the hob playing about plenty of handling over the summer and being picked up off the floor. Also run through some pipes as suggested on the forum here else where worked a treat for my two
  3. Thats a shame you might feel different in time though
  4. Not boring at all mate good read and a tidy morning despite the thorns

  7. I had front line on mine a week or two later they got ticks but with in days they had gone by which time I had ordered a tick twister after advice on here. But it will come in very handy in the future
  8. Thanks chaps will give another week or two
  9. I put my in season jill in with the vac hob at the weekend but he dived on her and started biting her head and face rather than her scruff. She fought back and all hell let lose with her screaming and giving off that musky smell they do when frightened so I opened the door and let her leg it out of there. A couple of weeks prior he serviced my other jill and there was just a bit of squeaking and that was it went much smoother. I think I am just getting too soft in my old age I might just get the jill jab instead for her.
  10. Just read the first couple of pages on this forum and you will find plenty of opinions on the subject

  12. Ring round a few local vets they seem too vary a lot in price. Mine was 37 + vat
  13. cracking run where did you get the mesh from ? They have rolls in my local farmers co op but there 27 quid or in b and q they have small squares which are fine for hutches at I think about 7 quid

  16. Nearest shop is 20 miles away some times online is just easier
  17. My jill went in with the vac hob yesterday and my other jill is just starting too come in season. My hob made me laugh his never seen her before in his life. Walked straight up grabbed her scruff and dragged her into the bed. The hutch was rocking around on the stand all morning he did let her stop for dinner though before carrying on. Who said romance was dead oh and since the jill has been taken out his going nuts running up and down and when I let him out he heads straight there hutch and climbs the wire shouting let me in. Be glad when the breading season is out the way
