If you were going to go for a PCP without getting your FAC, it will stil be sub 12 ft/lb and cost you £400. £50 would get you a FAC and the other £350 would easily buy you a rimfire (100ft/lbs -ish). Ruger or CZ do good rimmies. -
15 weeks and 2 days after sending off my FAC application, it finally arrived on my mat this morning. I was going to go clay shooting today, but I'll have to go gun shopping instead! It's going to be an expensive day!

I've already had the police round for shooting an air rifle in my garden. Neighbours with too much time on their hands.

On the advice of my FEO, when I needed to dispatch a caged fox, I called 101 and got a CAD number, so if any neighbours complained about a "man with a gun" in my garden, the old bill would have a record of it. My dog was going bananas at about 4.30 the other morning, so I went down and there was a largish vixen in the cage trap. I called 101 at 4.40, got a CAD number, then when the deed was done at about 4.50, I called and asked them to close the CAD down. Neither the first person I spoke to or the second person seemed to have the slightest idea what I was on about, but at least I had cover

I have never seen one in the wild. Great photos.

You have to report it. The why's and wherefores as to why the dog acts like this are irrelevant. The simple fact is it DOES act like that and will probably do so again. The woman "being caused nothing but aggro" is surely preferable to another incident. Hope your dog is O.K.
