  2. This is where we need Craigyboy back for his considered opinion.
  3. Is that English? None of it seems to make sense. Not that it matters.
  4. done it just anothe quick question please if you fired an arrow from a 6ft longbow with a 30" arrow how long would it take to get to the moon to the nearest second  What time of year and what draw weight?
  5. what i need to know is;; what is the lenghth of field archery arrows ? more inportantly what is the usual lenghth of a quiver to fit those arrows ?are side quivers prefered ? or over the shoulder back quivers?. thanks Oh I see now. ONE of your questions was how long is an arrow.
  6. I thought your question was how long is an arrow?
  7. I think Aaron was asking the draw length as the arrow is normally a couple of inches longer than that, which will obviously differ from person to person.
  8. And I use a springer, so increasing the pellet weight actually lowers the energy. Horses for courses I guess.
  9. .177s have a tendency to overpenetrate. Although they are flatter shooting, when shooting small quarry, they can sometimes go clean through, and not kill outright. It's only a personal thing, but I prefer the thwack of a .22, knowing it kills quickly and knowing where the pellet is.
  10. Just make sure it fits reasonably well. A gunshop will be able to point you in the right direction.
