  3. You have a PM and my email will follow up later when I've written a cover letter. Can't hurt to apply. See where it goes. BB
  4. I haven't quite had a chance to getting round to making any, but it's definitely still on my mind! Need to get some materials and dry some skins to practice with and experiment. I'll make several types to start and test them under different conditions, then put it back to you guys. Cheers for the replies, BB
  5. As above. Looking for £15 plus postage. Never worn, only ever tried on. Perfect condition. Good for walkers/hikers, or anyone who is working/spending time in shin high wet grass/windy conditions.
  6. As above. Never worn Deer Stalker cap. Nice and warm. Looking for £10 plus postage.

  8. As above. £70 plus postage or best offers (worth £110). Has some slight damage in the lining inside the Bergen, but nothing that affects functionality or waterproofing. Has rigid and padded back support built in, with adjustable and well padded shoulder straps, padded waist strap and bottom entry zips. Two side compartments and one top compartments with drawstring main storage area built in. Don't know exact size, but would guess 75L upwards storage space. Has slings for roll mat storage at the bottom. Any questions, feel free to ask.
  9. As above, looking for £40 plus postage or best offers. Suitable for someone a bit under 6" (5 ft 10 or so) as it is very big for a Small. Nearly no damage, just some loose threads in the tweed (a few brambles been seen in it's day, but nothing major). Beautifully warm, if a bit faded in places but otherwise perfect condition. Poachers pocket on the inside of the coat and has the pieces of material in the hand pockets to hold the popper pockets open (used so you can get to cartridges without having to keep lifting the flap up to the pocket).
  10. As above, Looking for £30 and postage or offers. Will get a rough idea for postage up later on. Few stitches missing and some very small, minor tears (doesn't affect waterproof ability) that are not really noticeable. Although it says XL in the label, would fit someone around 5'10" as I am 6'1" and it's short in the sleeves a bit. (Note: the line that looks like a tear above the pocket on the right with poppers is in fact another pocket for your hands, it's the camera angle).
  11. Average is 10 quid a ferret. Vac hob probably give him 35 for the pair to be nice.
  12. Needs to be posted with a rough price.
  13. I was being serious. I'll apply if I can get accommodation and perhaps transport. Would then compromise on pay i.e enough to then live.
  14. Hob lining = Someone too cheap to buy a locator.
  15. .410 if it's a Dutch barn? Are you saying it's impossible for you personally to get dogs or you can't use dogs on this specific ratting job? If it's you that can't get them, then invite someone with terriers to come on a day out? You could always air rifle them? Loads of options mate. Atb, BB
  16. Theres blue prints somewhere on the site. Sure someone on here could point you in that direction.
  17. ^ Larsens tend to be better for Maggies because they are a territorial and so come into a call bird. It means you can only catch 2 at a time (by standard larsen set ups). Ladders tend to be better for Crows and rooks in my experience because there is no "capacity" to them and they tend to flock together, for instance if one or two are in the trap feeding, others will join it. I say it like that because there is, but as long as you check it every 24 hours and dispatch all but a few, it should never reach capacity. But, again, going for cost reasons, a larsen might cost less, but catch far fewer
  18. Put them in cages where they can see each other but not get at each other. Put Olive oil on the back of their necks. Encourages them to lick each other and bond, not bite. Just keep them separate. If there is no damage being done, leave them to it, it's likely to be a pecking order thing. All suggestions you are likely to receive. We can't actually comment without seeing the extent of how bad they are with each other. Hope this helps, Atb, BB
  19. Ladder trap? Initial outlay can be a bit pricey unless you have the wood/wire knocking about or get it for free, but the trap should last you years, and if you use it right, can catch hundreds. Atb, BB
  20. Don't do anything until at least September. Maybe middle of. I ferret Tarpoly/Nantwich way, and could sort a day out come September/October.
  21. Get me a house in the area and I'll do it. Pmsl
  22. The front of my hutch was galvanised steel that a friend had left over from a project of his. It was a couple of mil thick and inch spaces. It doesnt flex at all, so the only noise is their claws coming down it, not the spring of it too. Mine are now in the garage in some large rat cages that I joined together to make a huge cage. Atb, BB

  24. Didn't expect anything different from you pat splashing out a bit with the raybans !! The kits are eating me out of house and home, mince and rabbit at the moment, can't get out often enough to shoot enough rabbits though, their not to keen on pigeon either Mate, I am having the same problem. The mince is a bit pricey and they are demolishing it, I cant get any bunnies as my big permission has the bloody RSPCA down there looking at the Badger sets and my smaller permission has got a couple of people on the land for a few weeks so I am stuffed. I am seriously thinking of going out and hac
  25. Yeah, the circuit boards are more of a geek thing and I wasn't looking to market them into the hunting community! but to be honest it's like all things, and to stick with hunting, take purse nets. Alot of people make them, but by the same token, alot of people buy them, why? Time, effort, skill level, etc. They are the people that you target when you sell anything that you make in this world. Cheers, BB
