    its a shit feeling loosing any animal and the not knowing if its injured or being mis-treated is the worst part, plays on your mind.

    marinade them in a chili and citrus based sauce (not too long time wise, the chili starts to break the liver down if you leave them in too long). Nando's bottled marinade from asda is a good start if you cant be arsed to make your own marinade, then fry/grill/or oven bake, serve them with a bit of salad and some crusty bread, great little starter and piss easy, works as well with chicken liver.

    if it doesnt get claimed that dog will have scores of people waiting to re-home it, happens with every mutt that makes the news and has had a shitty time. i'm glad they got it down safe and the poor f****r didnt strarve to death, the stretcher seems a little over the top, but they probably treated the whole job as a trainig exercise.

    never tried the jellied way, doesnt appeal at all to be honest. skinned off, rolled in a simple batter and shallow fried they are good eating. rolled in flour and fried in butter come a close second.

    the hunter brand has been steadily going down hill for some years now, right about the time they became the in thing to wear at festivals, hunter couldnt keep up with demand so outsourced manufacture (china i think), quality tailed off , price stayed high.

    happens regular with my terrier, no real pattern to the cause to be fair, happens when she's excited right through to when she's near enough asleep, i just give her throat a firm rub if it persists past 4 or 5 when i'm there, that stops it.
