    Where can anyone get a thermal scope or monocular repaired that has run out of warranty? Obviously they break or go wrong, and in my experience the sellers (especially online) do not give much help or really want to know. Its not like a shop where you can walk in the door and say I bought this from you and its broken. So you end up with equipment that has cost you a lot of money and is only fit for chucking in the bin if it cant be fixed. So where do you take it?

    My Pard ran out of battery and died so I put a fully charged battery in, but there is nothing. It is completely dead!! It is under 2 years old and cost £900 but it is completely crashed. The warranty is only 12months on these so nobody wants to know. Can anyone help please?

    Yes it is ox blood on the top. The bottom is a thick piece of Bufallo. Its the first time Ive used Ox blood dye. What type\make did you use? This one is Angelus.

    Kneeling pad. wet moulded.

    One is a quickset and one is a slow set. Personally I always leave glues 24hrs anyway. The Araldite 2 part (slow) glue is really good stuff and lasts. Quick and slow are both useful. I wouldnt penny pinch on anything that needs durability. You could earn a fiver while you are wasting time thinking about the cost.

    Thanks Flattop, I get a few every week from a shoot, but Ive been giving em to the dogs. Thought Id have a go at making a pie.

    I made these Pheasant pies from birds shot last saturday. one full breast per pie. I bought the pastry from morrisons.
