  1. What do you think they cover pigeons rats and rabbits with? Sounds dodgy to me.
  2. I did a house with 2 nests in the garden yesterday and charged £40. Two little toots on the duster and £40 was enough. After I had finished they told me the local Council quoted £72 for 2 nests!!!
  3. Try around Brigadoon, a couple of farms are inundated with rabbits.
  4. Sharp sand down the holes. And they aren't protected outside the normal Wild Mammals (Protection) Act.
  5. I had an awful thought about this post, it could be like someone asking me "What's the best bait to use for rats?"
  6. This is outside my usual thing, but I am going duck shooting in the autumn and wondered if anyone could give me some advice on what to buy for calling?
  7. I'm not trying to wind you up, but you did say ANY legislation, and didn't stipulate the caliber etc, just thought I was helping out .
  8. [/url]">http:// As you can see this is mentioned in items B, C & D of this section of the Act.
  9. Change the bait, if rabbit doesn't work try something, anything else! Chicken, left over BBQ bits, eggs, old meat, cat food, mix and match! It is, after all, a Fox.
  10. Or just put a cage trap out with a suitable bait inside...
  11. No fleas so far this year, loads last year lol!
  12. I don't think anyone was actually suggesting treatments, just talking about the law around possible treatments. And from the posts I have read, it seems very very few people actually know the law. But yes, removing honey is the best option, but one that very few people will pay for.
  13. The law doesn't say "block". It says that you need to take reasonable precautions to protect non targets. And if you have the proper training and experience, you would know this, hence what this chap got charged with.
  14. Fine For Pesticide Misuse At Sheffield Magistrates Court on 12th March 2008 Mr John Allison pleaded guilty to four offences of not taking all reasonable precautions in using an insecticide containing bendiocarb. He was fined £200 for each offence and a further £200 towards costs. Following an investigation into the deaths of thousands of honey bees, carried out under the Wildlife Incident Investigation Scheme (WIIS) by Defra and Natural England Mr Allison was charged that he: had failed to take all reasonable precautions to protect the health of human beings, creatures and plants;
