  1. Had some for breakfast in a diner in New york once, call me old fashioned but give me an old english fry up any day
  2. I know what you mean RM, same round by me. There,s feck all local, on land where i could get 20,s, you would be lucky to get a run now. So unless you travel and run the gauntlet, you have to put a lot of miles in and hit a few spots just to get sum runs. But at least your out mate and the dogs are doing what they should be and not stuck in a run, so good stuff mate. ATB
  3. Not had massive bags ferreting, plenty of twenty's and late thirty's mainly up the dales. Biggest bag i had was fifty seven and here,s the EOD pic
  4. Feckin deffinatley bend that over ! But do you think she would clean the dog runs out though ?
  5. Its full of lies,FACT Why dont you go lamping the ploxes in the frozen wastelands in your sammy slip on,s
  6. Good stuff trig, that pup sure looks a cracker
  7. Top draw stuff jim, especially if you was local ish
  8. Seems like he has done you proud jim and a man couldn't ask for a better mate. Its a pity a lot more folk dont treat the old warriors the same, i hear such talk as bringing them in the house makes them soft and such like, what a load of crap. My dog jim is kenneled, but i let him in the house when i get in from work and also do the same as you and take him everywhere in the motor with me, visiting mates and even if i nip too the shops. I would rather the dog be with me in the motor then stuck in his run, its all about creating that special bond with your canine hunting partner/mate. Plus i jus
  9. Good bag jim and well done old snipe, bet the digging was tough. Was you north, east, west or south mate ?
  10. Result mate, i am presuming plod pulled you parked up in a layby with the runners and a couple of bunnys in motor and no permish or reason to be in that area ? Did they do you with trespass in pursuit and what did you argue to get your lamp back ? And as for them trying for a driving ban for a few coneys well that's just pathetic pal, what a sad state the justice system is in when there is far more pressing crime to attend too. Stay lucky bud !Atb Freelance
  11. Enjoyed the clip, is always nice to see the wee beasties and was even better back in the day preban to see a dog up behind a white arse. Feck the crabbers mate and carry on with the vids, must say a lot nicer peace of music this time as well, good tune. Atb Matey
  12. My personal view on this, is i do think having ran them, that dales rabbits are easier to catch. I wouldn't like to comment however on whether they are faster or not than my local bunny's or other rabbits in different counties up and down the county. I live on the cheshire/lancashire border and run in different counties on different ground. If i head off into derbyshire and the high peak and lamp stone walled fields then the coney,s are easier to catch providing that they are not lamp shy ( most are these days ). But if i lamp over cheshire way and on arable or cattle fields with two strands o
  13. I blame Gary bloody Hosker me for all these arguments over dales rabbits !
  14. . I agree Wilf, what a cracking looking animal!! An absolute beauty!! ATB Andy Have to agree with you both, that what i thought. Its a stunner
  15. X38 why are you so bothered about the minshaw strain, what them lads get up to is there business. If they want to lamp rabbits up the dales then good on them, and the dogs are getting tested stamina and feet and constitution wise. Cant you just be happy for Johnyboy, the lads well chuffed with his new runner. You say you don't belive the pictures, well thats up to you. But why come on the thread and ruin it by calling the strain, when its just a thread about a lad and his new charge. Seems to me the old green eyed monster has reared its head !
  16. Nice looking dog, my type cobby and chunky. Whats she bred otut off ?
  17. ive had a 14amp hour one now for about the last 15months and its served me well. i wont go back to the old type battery now. Am with trig on this one, ive got a 14amp too and wouldnt go back either

  22. Lithium Battery 22ah £229 Lightforce Striker 170mm £100 (but got £10 knocked off) £100 for a striker . . . i can remember when they were £59.99 not so long ago . . . (4-5 year) what the hell happened to working mans prices . . . ? It may have been one with the dimmer on it, they are usually more expensive.
