    started off beating for a shoot with my dad when I was about 9 or 10, looked forward to every season after that. then started ferreting with a mate of mine just local which was great. Enjoyed it so much I got myself a few ferrets shortly after. We then started lamping with his collie/grey, was amazed with how clever, fast and soft mouthed this dog was, he was so soft mouthed I was told he used to retrieve water balloons un-damaged! I never witnessed this but none of the rabbits he caught were never 'chewed up'. I wanted a lurcher of my own after that however I was still living with my parents
