  1. was only out on a walk an she just had it, no shoots around there so don't know where it come from. not happy with her but things like this happen sometimes.
  2. if its just for rabbit I'd go for a collie/grey, I don't have one myself, but I would if the landlord would allow me to keep more dogs. Or a bedlington/whippet, but all the ones I've seen are long haired. just my opinion anyway, hope you get a good one. all the best
  3. bitch caught a bloody young pheasant on fields round back this morning, she didn't give it a chance. try to keep her off feathers but reckon she'll be hooked now. don't think me other half's parrot will be safe anyroad

  15. sounds pretty flawless to me, I guess the folk saying no either already have someone working the land or just don't want anyone working it. good luck with getting more permission though mate.
  16. my bull x whippet is a good worker, only work her on rabbit though. My friend has a bull x grey, great all rounder. they sometimes work together and she can keep up with him all night. both very handsome dogs, not much difference between them in my opinion except height and stride. I guess its just down to what size a dog people are after.
