    keep the dog just don't breed from him/her if its not proving itself to be a 'great' dog in the field, however if, like me, there is not enough room to keep a dog that won't work to your standards, maybe it could make a good pet for someone with no intentions of working it. . . good topic, would like to see others opinions on this

    good advice, I've always wondered myself if I was doing the right thing, giving a feed around lunch if I know I'll be going out, and then again when we get home.

    I'd be well happy if 1 of my dogs caught a pheasent as none of em do feather got no interest in it at all, its quite a rare thing nowadays she never so much as looked at feather before and she's 4 year old now, don't know why she took this one. maybe because she's in pup? its out of character for her tbh
