WHAT !!!! we had baby rabbits around new year up here
yes i know ive been reading about it on here for months folk getting young rabbits but never seen any we have been lucky or unlucky what ever way you look at it
where did you get the gravey from did you make it from gravy granules ? In my experience it will be that that is make it skitter would leave it out and see how it goes i know it makes there dinner smell and taste better but seen it give even an adult dog the skitters !
Yes it is a tapeworm cyst seen a few over the years , I would not eat it and nor would I feed it to the dog or ferrets is it worth it chuck it to feck you can't be that short of rabbits
i would aways double it up with another dog for the first few it makes the job a lot easyer and the young dog doesnt get to many sore bites before it learns how to do the job and gets scunnerd !
i would wait til the pup you have is doing the job before getting another pup so you can concentrait on one pup at a time wither that is a season or 2or3 seasons dependes on the dog and you and how much work you can give it
ive got a bullgrey x whippetgrey the now and ive had a collie grey whippet x in the past and i dont see much difference it the two in the way they work , but maybe thats not the x maybe thats me in the way i bring them up and train them and work them !
that depends on what they are mostly fed on boilies is a good starting point, sweetcorn ,meet, pepperamie, or even maggots if there is not to much smaller fish about
im also 40 years old and only just now on my 5th dog everyone of them ive had from pups and they have stayed with me until they have died too many people give up at the first hurdle and sell the dog on i just make the best out the dog i can and ive never been disappointed with them !
Not at all seen a few dogs that were not exactly dead keen on there first fox turn out to be first class fox dogs , i allways like to start them of with an older dog thats already doing the job to show them what its all about and to give the youngster a bit of confidence that it too can do it .after running a few with another dog then i would run it on its own and see how it got on , running a young inexperienced dog on fox on its own can scunner it if it gets too many sore bites !
herd all that pish before many times from people that have never had a good dog before if they have ever had a dog at all dont pay any attention to they two fools !
