  1. not too far when they start lying down or whining they have had enough
  2. not one single field cut up my way in fife , some are looking nearly ready to get cut but others are still green and not even full grown the season is still a fair bit away for us
  3. when the dog was a pup its coat was almost like a young lamb realy thick and curly when he grew up it thined out a bit but has been said was like a husky !
  4. my mate had the same problem put the Jil to the Hob and everything went well she came out of season lost hair on her belly and started to gain weight but on her due date she had not gained that much weight and no kits , after another couple of weeks she came into season again and was put to the Hob again with exact same result so who knows what is the problem ! Just a note none of them are proven breeders they might be tryed with different partners next season

  6. it looks like it has some saluki in it but who knows would have a better idea if you seen it in the flesh , a cracking wee pup all the same
  7. same here i have a black dog that gets bald patches on his tail , they grow back for a while then it falls out again ive tried everything but nothing works i dont worry about it anymore !
  8. I wouldn't worry one bit seen it loads of times with young dog catching and letting rabbits go usually after 2or3 she will hold on to them , but same as has been said already try and find easier rabbits golfcourse rabbits are ridiculously fast and hard to catch
  9. try her on a raw meat only diet for a while some dogs dont get on too well with all the cereals in dry meal and it causes them untold skin disorders
  10. ive pulled hundreds off my dogs overs the years and a few of me never had any problem getting them off going to the vets is a dear way to do it !
  11. feral pigeons carry more desease than rats so we tend to avoid them ive feed the ferrets on feral pigeons loads of times seen the dogs eat them and ive even ate them with no ill affect
  12. go for a mk3, if you have never used one before they are very confusing to start with with all the noises they make for apparently no reason but stick with it and you will soon get the hang of it its easy once you understand it and you will wonder how you managed without it

I have a bullgrey x whippetgrey he is only 11months old at the moment and the first bull x ive had,hes cought 20 odd rabbits so far prob half of what hes chased which for me is a decent catch ratio about my way were rabbits are thin on the ground and run like rockets although i have been carefull which rabbit he runs , at the moment i dont think he is any better or worse than any of the other xs ive had
  14. ive used lurchers and a terrier and your correct it is very simple same here i used my old lurcher for tracking, the one in my aviator never gave him any training for it he just picked it up as we went along
  15. you struggle to give them away this time of year £40-£50 i dont think so !
  16. for me ive always fed beta puppy with some dog mince from the butcher mixed in , as for working her shes a long way of that yet let her be a puppy play with her get her out and socialise her with other dogs and people once shes had her jabs while all the time working on basic training lead work sit stay recall and retrieve and braking her to ferrets if your going to use her for that in about 10 or 11 months depending on the dog everyone is different she will be ready for a bit of work

  18. never painted mine and its fine give it a good scrub with jays fluid and it wont stink of piss !
  19. it looks lost to me doesnt know where to ! Defo a city fox been dumped in the country !
