    dog wont learn much waiting for the weather mate get it out as much as possible if there is a easy picking let him have it if not keep him on the lead ,they still need need to learn to watch the light each time you switch it on happy lamping

    a mate of mine had a russel ,with a bit bull off the same fellar ,30 odd years ago,couldnt fault the dog ,had plenty of digs with it ,never once did it fail 2 find and keep at bay ,till you tapped in ,THE GOOD OLD DAYS atb tony

    i like to start mine 10 to 11 months old nice and easy ,dont give the dog to much to soon keep it keen for the next nite out and just steady on through its first season

    try and walk him up on a few mate ,keep him on the slip when they get up release the dog but try giving him short slips ,so he carnt get into his stride good luck mate

    i have had this problem once,and 2 be honest mate,the only method that worked,was 2 kennel them away from each other,and wrk a routine around them,going by my experience mine would be not one bit dog agresive 2 wards any other dog but with each other ,they had pure hatred i hope am wrong but i dont think you will stop them wanting 2 get 2 grips with each other ,i even tryed muzziling them as last resort and let them go 2 it,thinking they would burn them selves out not a chance,they wernt going 2 respect each other 4 nothink, i would just keep them seperated saves a lot of unnesasery grief

    not nice at all ,sorry 2 hear that mate ,i lost a terrier last wednesday he was on a charlie chased it across a motorway got wiped out by a car gutted unfurtanatley accidents happen in this game and we have 2 pick are selves up ATB tony

    good old jack russell like has bean said easy 2 work very natural ,put the work in front of them and they deal with it nothink for them to kill rats at 6 month old .and they pack well

    i have always liked the look of them gallgoes that they course with in spain,i think a good 1 x with a good honest lurcher would make a decent dog

    when youre out mate look 4 old boards bits of metel sheeting anythink like that especialy in long grass lift them up and hiss youre dog on you will be surprised what is under them and its a good starting point it wont take the dog long realise whats there then just progress from there ATB tony

    i have had a wippet xterrier .the dam was the terrier and sire was a wippett she was not bread 4 lamping but 4 day time work and 2 be honest she dropped the jaws of many a douter and in the [BANNED TEXT] hands them pups will excell when it comes to bushing marking ,ratting ,ect, i certainly wouldnt nock them ATB tony

    there is a picture of eddie jones and celt in a book called Diary of a hunter and it shows the man holding a hare ,saying celts first hare. no way is that dog 6 months old
