    Mind you guys, summer for me started end of march (got a good tan at a stag golfing weekend in devon) and continued through to end of July with very little rain - crops failing or growing weakly in many areas due to lack of water. It wouldn't be such a green and pleasant land if we didnt get wet occasionally! Now its nearly september so autumn is nearly upon us; lamping time! As for winters being cold, when I was a kid (say 20-30 years ago), winters were always cold with plenty of knee-deep snow and we just coped with it.     Not sure how long you can in theory, but I'd keep it in there for 24 hours max and then cook it. Longer than a day and I'd be freezing it. You can probably keep it refrigerated a fair bit longer, but I'm fussy about my meat and the wife is borderline paranoid Duncan

    Yup, chrono it and you'll know. Still love my lil' ratty! Makes 8.5fpe and is very accurate out to 25/30 yards. Bagged a heck of a lot of bunnies with mine at close range too (mostly 20-25 yards) and it will always be in my cabinet as a good useable spare. Cheers Duncan

    Nice write up Bradley! I guess on that day I turned out to be a better coach than shot. Fortunately, I made up for it on sunday when shooting with my brother- we all have good days and bad I think you did very well for your first tine and showed some natural talent, furthermore I'll be happy to take you out again.
