  1. shaped dog cage. Base is 3ft long and 27" wide. 2ft high. Slopes inwards so perfect for the back/ boot of a car. One side door open normally and the other opens upwards for the boot of a car. Was used for a small terrier but no longer needed. Make me An offer..... Pick up only Midlothian. Pictures can be sent via email

  4. any ideas on how to get rid of slugs? They're everywhere in the new place once the evening comes. Never seen them so bad. Worried about them with the kennel/ dogs etc. Even found a trail around my kitchen wall!!!! There's a drain that runs the full length of my garden which is super handy, do they come out of here? Also a big wood block at the back if the house? Any ideas to exterminate the horrible little cnuts or cut the numbers?
  5. Feck it. Get the dog checked out, if it is deaf then you need to decide what your going to do. If you keep it and decide to run it then you will Need to work hard to get a bond with the dog and work Out an understanding. A shock collar has a vibrate mode on it do could use that to work out the recall. I'm sure a deaf dog would compensate by using other senses similar to a deaf person. I've got a 14 month whippet, she broke both her back legs at a young age and most said she wouldn't run again. Now she's keen as they come, catching and enjoying every minute of it. She sees the fer
  6. What police don't use ANPR? it's fitted to 99% of their vehicles nowadays. Got stopped Saturday night, to be fair the police were sound.
  7. Didn't you make some 'braided' collars a while back? Any pics?
  8. I'm getting married on Thursday, moving house on Saturday and then I'll be sending my lure off to be repaired. The timing of it going tiits up eh! Should have this on the go once the lure is back
  9. Get another dog. Perfect excuse
  10. I got one of them for a bargain price on and eBay auction. Once it arrived I decided it was shite. Was flimsy, didn't really give them too much extra space unless you split the run into 2 floors and like I said it was flimsy wood so wouldn't hold. There was potential to put pop holes in to 'nesting box' to make a sleeping compartment and pop hole to outside to keep wood shavings inside but in the end it's still small. You would have to be on your knees to clean it out and if the ferrets shiit outside the mesh/ wood soon becomes minging and looks dirty. Personal opinion though. Why not
  11. I got one from sporting saint and it was decent but didn't last long. One off eBay lasted a bit longer but I've worked out if you tie a few pieces of string as tight as you can around the dummy as soon as you get it, it keeps the skin on the dummy.
  12. They don't last long wherever you buy them from. eBay is the cheapest mate
  13. My opinion for what it's worth is that dog is a cracker. Terriers are not my thing but you know I've always got space for her! Keep her to the rats and rabbits and that muzzle unblemished. Mind if you go a dig I've got roxy the wrecking ball here
  14. Why would you need to screw it in the floor? My old man had an escort van with a single dog box in. He sat it at the back of the seats and attached it to the sides with a couple of pieces of rope on some 'u' bolts. Didnt move an inch and was quick and easy to remove when he needed the full van. Failing that, what about a small wedge screwed to the floor at the front as side of the crate which would prevent it from moving. This way you could lift it out whenever you needed.
  15. Thank you. Thank you, very much............ Nice cock.................. You did ask a silly question if you read it back. You mean what do people prefer, entire/ castrated or vasectomised? There is obvious benefits to a vas hob if you have jills. An entire hob if you plan on breeding at some point. And castration if you have more than one hob together. Myself, I keep 3 castrated hobs and they work fine. Can work all season without thinking about getting the horn or fighting.
  16. Not sure if it's the same guy I spoke to on another forum from that way.... Posted a topic 'kits for sale 10wks'.... Explained 'one hob is currently in training for working' Ffs
  17. Rabbits= no guts Everything else= whole So onto another question: FROZEN OR FRESH? Mine get fresh as I get in from ferreting/ lamping and the rest goes in the freezer.
