we don`t have teachers anymore, they are professional trainers who can only run by what`s in a book, a teacher can spot a child who struggles to understand something and find a different way to explain things, my old physics teacher was always banging on about cross-multiplication, had me stumped, family friend told me about the pyramid system for ohms law, that stuck with me and I still use it now.

250g wholemeal flour, couple of tablespoons of oil, pinch of salt, (I use a bit of lemon juice) and then enough water for it to form a dough, I roll then to about the thickness of a pound coin, should be cooked with no colour but I prefer them to have some, they do puff up when cooking but soon collapse, if yours are not rising then the dough might be a bit too dry, as for salt, A, we eat too much of it and B, if you ease off it it does not take long for you not to miss it. I`ve got two types, usual powdered table salt for general use and some sea salt crystals to go on top of a loaf when

thing is the EU was going to cut quota`s by a large margin anyway so some of their fishermen were going to lose out, they just have brexit as a target for blame now, we all will have to wait for this covid shit to settle before we can see which way this is going but one thing is certain, if the french and spanish cooks want UK caught fish they will pay for it no matter how much bollox the EU tries

no problem with thawing out frozen meat, cooking it, then re-freezing it, problems start with leaving it stand, if your going to freeze stuff the trick is to cool it down as quick as you can then bang it in the freezer

true, but who is just below your team in the competition ?

it`s their own bloody fault, crops damaged, fences cut, gates left open and if anyone questions them they threaten violence, yep, crush the trucks or any cars they use and confiscate the dogs

do not, under any circumstances, use old engine oil, it is full of metallic particles and acids and is actually corrosive, if you want to use oil just buy some cheap 20/50 and use that.

the summer holiday has needed to change for years, the only reason for it was for families to uproot themselves and get out into the countryside to help with the harvest season, back then it made sense, nowadays it is just plain stupid to have such a long break, the only thing I can remember from them is when I went back to school i`d forgotten most of the previous years work so the first few weeks were catchup.

not me, I do use coconut milk in some of my curry`s but tend not to follow the indonesian recipes, usually too bloody hot for me but having said that, today planted some chilli seeds, don`t know the exact type but small, and far hotter than jalapeno`s, god help my arse come july!!!

keeps dracula away??, seriously though, when frying food not getting the oil hot enough is the mistake most people do, I scare the shit out of my mrs when I get flames spouting out of a pan, nothing to worry about, just give it a gentle swirl and move it off the heat for a bit. If you think about it there are 2 points in frying food, 1, the food should never stick, if it`s hot enough it will float on a film of steam bit like the fire walker trick and 2, oil can get far hotter than water, scary as it sounds I`ll only put food in when there is a slight hint of smoke from the pan, sticking the fo

I did say you were better off making them than trying to do naan`s, next time you do a mix stick some lemon juice in it (SOME, not all lemon, you`ll need some water still for it to come together)

sod containers, take up too much room, get yourself a bag sealer, the type that will also vacuum pack and seal, you can then freeze a meal in the shape of a jiffy bag, just make sure you A, buy the proper rolls of plastic, my last lot came from lidl, and B, write down the type and date made on everything

bringing in another nation was never about improving the game, it was all about the extra money an extra game brings in, how long will it take to end up as the 22 nations?

f**k me, I thought I was bad buying basmati rice in 10kg bags, thats about 10 years worth for me and my mrs loves the bloody things in every meal possible, you do know that they treble in size when they rehydrate and thats before cooking them (do NOT put them in any sort of slow cook recipe unless you boil them first) your not going vegan on the sly are you??????

FFS, if they start pumping hormones into them I`ll have to buy a bra, put so much weight on I`ve already got bigger tits than my mrs, that or stop eating them

first question is, are you in the UK, if you are look here Spices | Cooking Ingredients | Chinese, Thai, Indian | Buy Online | Tradewinds (tradewindsorientalshop.co.uk), next is do you use canned or dried chickpea`s, bin the tins, you have the time and look like your prepared to put the effort into a decent plate of grub, soak a small amount of dried peas over night (they will near enough treble in size) then boil gently for about an hour, the taste will get you throwing the tinned stuff out to attract pigeons (when you stick them in a curry, flash fry and stir in for the last 10 minutes, eas

steamed coconut buns, forget about making popadoms at home, naans or chapati`s are easier, chapati`s are an absolute doddle, take longer to type it all out than it does to make them
-
aldi for coconut milk, shake shit out of it first as it can settle or if you want to make it thicker scoup out the top solid bit. try this. use half the coconut milk in your curry, wash out and dry the tin, use the tin to measure out self raising flour, 1 can flour to 1/2 can coconut milk, mix well, divide into cupcake paper cases (should do 6 easy) and steam for 10-12 minutes. popadoms we buy in and cook 200 a time, naans are a pain to make at home unless you have a big heavy pan, chapaties are easier, can dig out the recipe I use if you want it, very simple to do

you think Boris is bad, look at the shower of sheite we have in Wales, second rate fuckwits who would get thrown out of a village committee for sheer incompetence

the question is, to have the jab or not. I`m 55, had flu twice (influenza, not just a bug, there is a difference) and I have the flu jab every year, I even pay for it rather than wait for my GP to decide if I should get it, a covid jab is something I will get even if it only gives me limited protection, any out there still refusing to think its a serious problem needs a swift kick in the balls, I generally agree that it is not the killer the media and government make it out to be but at my age, and with other problems I have I`d rather not risk it

prawn pins, not seen them for years, the hooks I`m after are 4:0 salmon doubles, another I`ve not seen for ages

complete, only thing you need to add is wheels and some sort of mudguards, only way you could get away with a solid trailer would be to use wide, soft low pressure tyres, not practical if your going to do any road work and your dogs would`nt like you pretty sharpish
