ey up mate. me missus and kids walked it a few years ago. it was stinking hot when we set off up so we was in shorts and t-shirts but ihad bottoms and jumpers in a rucksack. we were grateful for these when we got near top as it was brass monkeys up there. you will need some good grip on your footwear as rockss on path are really polished by all walkers. we took loads of photos on way up on youngest lads camera and made the mistake of letting him carry it on way back down. got about 500 yards from bottom and he dropped it smashed it open so no piccies so hold onto your camera tightly. hope yo
  17. had exactly the same problem with mine mate. just kept calling her back regularly when we were out, even just for a walk.when she came back i made a massive fuss of her even if it wasnt straight away.they love affection so will get to associate being called back with getting some. she still suffers selective deafness occasionly but is much better now. good luck.
  18. must admit i agree with you mate. even though i have my beardie cross[not a hancock in case anybody was thinking about abusing it] and a pure bedlington the best rabbiting dog i have ever owned was a whippet bedlington. marked, bushed and caught.
  19. depends on the type of ground youre going to be working mate.moorland and open fields mean you can run a lurcher and have some cracking sport.places where theres alot of cover you will probably need a terrier or two.ive got a bedlington terrier and a beardie cross lurcher. take both wherever i go. then ive got the best of both worlds.you could end up with a shed load of dogs if you try and get one for all occasions.

allways halve whatever depth its telling you use a probe as you dig dont dig as fast in case you chop a fert in half silly question i know but what is a probe good for as i know what they are but never used 1,is it just for finding the depth you can use probe if you think you have missed hole, which happens sometimes just poke about in the sides of the hole youve dug until you feel it go into burrow.never go without one myself.
