try tyram hall fisheries mate they have a syndicate lake.as well as the match lakes. can be a bit noisy at weekends though as they have a lake for jet skiing close by. there is also a small pond full of big ghosties that hardly anyone fishes.

no mate i match fish etc. when im at home but when i go down to cornwall i just go shore and boat fishing. cant get enough of it.

off to cornwall tomorrow again for a two week fishathon, cant wait. bet i dont get much sleep tonight.giddy as a kid.just hope weather is kind to us.

cheers for the replies. phoned them today and was told they would phone back but never did.[surprise surprise]mentioned legality of having a tag on my vehicle for an offence ive never even been charged for but their just arrogant pricks and said my vehicle was on the P.N.C anyway.i mentioned the freedom of information act and was then told i would have to speak to the sergeant.if they ant got owt better to do other than chase me round yorkshire good luck to em. we have got about 30 farms spread all over. while their pestering me their leaving somebody else alone.

i went driving round on monday looking for new permission [got one new farm ]then today when i got home from work there was a letter from north yorkshire police waiting for me. this stated that as my vehicle has in the past been involved in the poaching of game they are writing to inform me of the legislation regarding poaching so that i am aware of how they will deal with any offences. it then goes on to explain what they can seize etc. etc. this would be bad enough if i had ever been done for poaching anywhere but as i havent its doubly annoying. i can only presume that this is because las

sorry if last post seemed argumentative ossie n arch, i suppose thats a good way if you havent got many tops mate.never thought about it like that as second hand poles i have bought have had plenty of tops, or i have been able to buy a new top. if you do fit a small elastic into a large bush it may be a good idea to fit a small bead over the elastic behind the connector to prevent the connector going inside the bush.

im not saying that you cant cut tops back mate . what i was trying to say was that you cant fit a bush for a number 6 elastic where a bush for a number 20 elastic has already been. you say in your opinion that it would be ok to put a 6 elastic through a 20 bush, then explain why you shouldnt. IMO if your going to do the job, do it properly.

if its a half decent pole it will have match top with it which will have small elastic in it. the bush on a top with 20 elastic in it will be too big for a 6 or 8 elastic and it will have been cut back too far to fit a smaller bush.you can always buy a match top to fit the pole and have whatever elastic you want fitted into it.
