    I've taken the VC of the R10 and put my HW one on and its a lot quieter. Then I put the VC on the HW100KT and that's just as quieted as the HW silencer. Every gun will be different .

    KT all the way mate, you will not be disappointed ,gives you a chance to teach your self to shoot right handed like I did with mine

    The newer R10 with 12 at the end of the serial no has the new reg in it, shows that they have fixed that problem , you don't hear bad things said about regs any more .

    Hi this is from the BSA forum a post made by Tench a very knowledgeable person on airguns i found that the BSA barrel rarely needs cleaning at all, some other makes of barrel go off after a few hundred shots, a good pull through gets them accurate again but the BSA barrel with the JSB heavies never went off. The ft/lb advantage they have is huge too, at 50 ish yards they will have 1.5 ft/lb more than the lighter ones, its like tuning your gun! The pellets wide waisted design is the key feature, this places more of its mass away from the centre of rotation, this produces more flywheel eff

    Sorry Villaman , ITS NOT AN ADDON the Photon 5x42 is a monocular built on to its own scopei handled and looked through one at the Shooting show at Stoneleigh recently and now have one on order,its dedicated unit not an addon, atb brian Sorry, yes you are right ,I was told some time early last year that it will be a add on by the importer .

    My shooting bud has one and he uses rws superfields until he tried AA hunter fields ,well what a a brilliant pellet even out to 60 yards. I don't think he will be changing back to any thing else. Nice looking gun ,shoots very well but the bluing on them aren't that great IMO

    N550 all day long over the tvs which sit on your gun ,, unnatural way of shooting imo . I think you have to have a licence to have one of those tvs

    If you know your set up very well and conditions are good and your comfortable at shooting at that distance why not, I have many a time with clean kills
