  4. I've just got in from doing a bit of rabbit control(to enable me to keep my permission)and my brother in law shot this big buck rabbit..............now when I saw it properly in the light at home,I had to weigh it.I can't remember shooting or ferreting one quite as big,and wondered what you all thought.Have you had bigger(I'm probably gonna guess yes)??................He weighed in at a whopping 3lb 8oz after being paunched,so I would guess, probably a good 4lb live weight............here he is with an average sized rabbit.........

  12. Here's my young pup,she loves rabbit, and I let her have it with the skin on as it is a natural food.It is good for the dog to have to pull and chew the flesh from the carcass,I also give her lamb/beef/chicken and raw minced veg.I also give her lamb breast bones a few times a week.I think you can see that she is in good nick.....................

    Insect

Almost certainly a blister from a plant in the garden. There are a number of plants that can do this, and,if it had been cloudy it probably wouldn't of come up at all.The juice of the plant gets on the skin and when the sunlight touches it it comes up in a blister. Was she using a strimmer or tearing up weeds etc. I have seen this when a chap(fecking idiot)was strimming without a shirt on,later that day he was covered in these blisters(he had strimmed 'Hogweed'). I am not sure what the plant is called, but, there is a lovely plant with purple flowers that will do exactly the same thing.
