  1. just keep putting them in together to try and get them used to each other but keep an eye on them to make sure shes not going to kill one of your kitts. could you not put her in with one of your hobs instead of putting her in with the kits atb
  2. i think anyone would do the same in his situation i would you've got to protect your family no matter what. i bet he ends up getting done for murder or man slaughter cause the law in this country stinks.
  3. no pal i keep mine in a garage and they stink that out so i can only imagen how the house would stink if i kept them in the house
  4. i normally start mine off at about 6 months old pal
  5. i use my mates sometimes and it marks rabbits in all the time and its never been wrong so far.

  9. well done pal another good write up hows your little dog healing up? i was out the other day but only got 2 rabbits but a big plus was that my terrier started to mark them in so pleased about that. atb pal
  10. i sometimes use my mates springer spannial for marking but im in the middle of getting my young patt x parson russel to mark he marked his first one in the other day i was really pleased with him. i know what you mean about your patterdale mines the same it will kill anything that moves except sheep and other dogs its good with them. atb
  11. a fox will kill & eat most things when its hungry enough ferrets included a ferret is no match for a fox.

  15. it takes me about 2 and ahalf hours to make one yes the mesh is expensive if bought new its about £70 for an 8ft x 4ft sheet but im lucky as iv got a mate that gets me enough off cuts to make a trap from where he works all he asks in return is i make him one as and when he needs one. atb

  17. just out of intrest how may people make there own traps? i make all my own fox traps and have made all mine apart from the first one which i bought off a lad i know who makes them i payed £100 for it and ever since then iv made my own iv also make a few mink traps and rat traps. you cant beat it when you catch somthing i a trap that you've made yourself. heres one of the fox traps that im making at the min lets see the traps you've made atb.

  19. as joe67 says otom tick twister only cost me £4.99 for 2 cant beat it for removing them spot on should be ok for your ferret alot of people use frontline which is better than most products on sale but it costs a bit. atb
  20. its not that she doesnt like hunting cause she enjoys a day ferreting its the amount of time i spend hunting she twines about but she twines when im in or out so cant win sometimes :laugh:

  22. what does your partner think of you hunting mine dosent mind me hunting shes been out with me ferreting a couple of times but she twines about the amount of time im out hunting just wondered if all women were the same when it came to hunting all comments welcome atb
  23. i teach mine to jump from an early age its a lot easier having a dog that jumps than having to lift it over everything
