yeh you would think that they would be made shock proof but this is how deben makes its money designing something that breaks easily so that you have to buy a new one or be charged a fortune to get it fixed.

you should get yourself an old grey box locator they seem to be reliable iv used them for years and havent had one break on me yet iv also got one of the mk3s and mines doing the same as yours i dont think there worth the money mine broke after 1 season.

thanks pal im trying to get all my kids into it even my step son but he's not intrested he'd rather play on the playstation 3 ill keep asking him if he wants to come who knows he might one day. atb for the season pal

cheers pal i know what you mean my girlfriend son has no intrest in it to iv tryed my hardest to get him to come with me but he wont he seems more bothered about the playstation 3 than anything else but ill keep asking him cause id rather he was out doing something instead of stuck in playing games on the computer. atb for the season pal

i said to her before that if she wants to have a go at killing one then ill show her how it s done but its up to her she said she would have a go she seems keen enough. yeh thats an old mk1 box and hemp net s i made myself iv got nylon nets as well and im going to buy somp spun poly and make some with that to see what there like but i do like the hemp ones though. atb for the season pal

thanks pal iv got a 14 year old nephew that loves to come ferreting with me as well he couldnt come today as he was grounded its great when they enjoy something that you do and a good feeling to teach them how to do it properly. i bet you got loads of antis givving you crap off that facebook you done right telling them where to go. atb for the season pal.

i had my daughter to stay at mine last night and i asked her if she wanted to go ferreting today she said yes straight away shes been a couple of times with me before and she really likes it shes only 8 years old so today we set off after dinner and went to a little place i know in a wood theres about 6 sets in it and theres also a couple of dykes with a few little set on near the wood. we started to net the holes up on the first set this is the first time iv let my daughter put the nets on and she done a good job of it the last few times i took her out she has just watched me put the nets on.
