Well said mate, nothing worse than over powering parents, just a form of bullying. The hardest part of parenting IMO isn't bringing them up, it's letting them go. The last thing I'd want is my daughter to be embarrassed to bring a boyfriend home to meet me cos I might act like macho man. More chance of them not telling you if the relationship turns sour. Its nothing to do with being a Macho man its about letting the young man know you won't have him messing your daughter around ... If his spine falls out his arse because your giving him the cold shoulder then he isn't going to be much use at lo

But that isn't anything new, footballers have always been like that and there used to be loyalty. There more they earn now the more they want.

Did everyone reading that post put on an oz accent in their head when they read I reckon at the end, or was it just me

Not directly, I'm a few years older mate at 46! Though I met him a few times. My mum was the school cook, Rooneys mum worked for her, 'our Wayne' ate there every day. I knew about his talent and attitude long before he made Everton's first team.He must have been some talent at school level. We had a couple of guys who signed S forms for Celtic, one of them made the first team in a cup game, that was about it. Bottom line is that if he 'played', De la Salle usually won by a huge margin. Hard to imagine a kid not wanting to play every game never mind one who actually makes it as a pro.

What's he worth do you think? He'll only have a year left in the summer

What do you guys think of him waiting till after the WC to renew his contract? Do fans not care about player loyalty? He arsed about with his last contract now he's doing it again. I'm all for players getting what they are worth but a wee bit of loyalty wouldn't go a miss. It's not like he will be getting food parcels if he takes Man U offer or do you think he doesn't like playing for moyes?

I think the kid knew the score and should be treated as the hero he is without question. I know this being THL and every action is questioned to the point photographic evidence is required but I reckon we can take this one at face value considering the circumstances.

My old man used to make porridge really thick... like the consistency of cement! ... And sugar wasnt measured by spoonfulls.... It was a few (a lot) of shakes from the sugar pot.... If you didnt eat it quick... it would cool down... and be too hard to eat .... They used to keep it in a special draw once it had cooled down and hardened and eat lumps of it throughout the day up there! Yip....was poured into the bottom drawer when my grandad was a kid and chunks were cut out as 'treats'...lol I thought that only happened in the Broons

Blah de blah de blah. Your problem gnash is you like to dish it out but can't take it back. It's ok for you to called max a lunatic, stewie pathetic etc, but when you get it back, you act like a big baby I have had umpteen names on here and guess what, it's usually cos clowns like you get into arguments like this, throw me insults but can't take them getting thrown back I'm usually the one who gets banned. That's why these days I'm very careful what I write whereas folk like GTE can call me whatever they want. You talk about I want on here more than you, you saying you don't want on here, I'

I know it ain't funny but that reminded me of that scene out of me, myself and Irene when he shoots the cow a dozen times, strangles it, boots f**k out of it then the police at the end say, you almost killed a cow

Right mate, got you. When I'm pissing regular I'm talking maybe every hour. Don't think I'm mocking anyone, I was genuinely curious.

I agree with that. When we made it to the final of the UEFA cup and the league was coming down to the last day. My rangers mate asked if I had a choice, win the league or the UEFA cup, it was a no brainer for me. I've seen my team win many a league and I probably will again(unlike rangers fans) but to win a European trophy, that's special. I'd give up 10 league titles to see Celtic lift a European trophy. So I suspect the same applys to diddy teams like west ham, if they had a choice between relegation or a domestic trophy.

See the picture of the falls, I always thought they were bigger

Well obviously! LOL. Hindsight is always viewed with 20/20 vision. So you believe they should take the policy of "errr maybe he's not a bomber" with every incident? I simply don't agree with that because it would be the most ineffective and dangerous policy for everyone. They have to trust their intelligence and act ruthlessly, I would be ashamed with anything less. wow that suprises me mate. were not talking about some war zone here.its the streets of britain.your gonna draw a gun and shoot some c**t then i want more than just a fleeting glance at someones arse. that could have been anyo

Pissing a lot, tiredness, weight loss and drinking fluids like they're going out of fashion. I've seen days where I piss a lot, days I don't. Tiredness, naa but like yesterday, up at 5ish working, out lamping last night, bed after 1am, up for work 6 this morning, gonna feel tired no weight loss, been same weight for years. I have days where I drink a lot but still, if I had all them symptoms I prob still wouldn't go to a doctor
