Just read that vinnie thread, my heart goes out to the lad getting his dog stole but holy f**k, that thread reads like a comedy sketch. He gets a good dog by all accounts, can't help himself bragging about it, fair dos. I've took my daughter out of school for a holiday, got an appointment to see the assistant head, told her the circumstances, she granted her an exception. I can see the schools point, they are getting downgraded for all sorts by inspectors.

And that is a point I have argued/debated many times with followers of the white christ, they seem unable (more likely unwilling) to take on board the fact that their whole religion is based on words written down in a book, by humans, it is no more feasible than any one of us writing a book and proclaiming it as the word of god, if that is what you wish to believe then good luck, and if people find comfort in it then it has done some good at least, but for me and many others I will stick with the old beliefs, that were here in this country long long before the dessert religion was brought here

Very true and strange this Wilf. My mum kind of turned away from Church after our kid died at 14. Me I always feckin hated it but if anything in all seriousness I lean more towards Buddhism just for the peace and meditation side of things, I got into this through Thai boxing before our kid died and found myself questioning it when he did which was strange as I have no belief of an afterlife or any Harry Potter in the sky shite full stop. My upper body strength isn't an issue, I can smash all the other tests with time to spare. I do a lot of lifting and carrying daily, I do logging for the fire so I'm carrying big pine logs through the forest all the time and walking 4 miles with a weeks shopping or 20kg of dog food so I'm not worried about that its just the run Reminds me of the start of the film commando

Well said Bosun. Feet matter, course they do, like a cars wheels, they are there to transfer the power into speed. We all want a dog to tick all the boxes but they don't and bad feet is something you have to live with. There only made of bone and flesh, no matter how good they are, hit against a rock flat out, only one winner. You can only do a lot of road work, harden the pads, get them on there toes and cross your fingers.

Well the weekend was my first time playing in the pub since I've turned pro and I have to say, I was shite lol. Couldn't believe how bad I was. Come Sunday I was hitting everything, was beating the mate 3-0 at 101 finished 3 all but still....... I think it was the pressure, the mate took great delight in telling every c**t I was in training I saved face on the pool table though, only beat once all night As for my song bracken, I'm thinking don't worry be happy what was the billy ocean one?

My understanding of it is this..... It was a black hole, black star that self imploded as they tend to do from time to time.
